Surprise

"Is that...?" Fan started, staring at the purple-liquid filled vile; who was doing the same to him.

"Uhhh, well if you mean Test Tube," Mic began, "Then yeah."

Test Tube, who flinched at the sound of her name, let out a low growling sound.

"What happened to you two?" Paintbrush asked, looking up at the two  giants.

"It's a long story," Taco who had stayed quiet and hidden behind Mic, spoke.

"TACO?!" Fan squealed. This night just kept getting crazier.

Paintbrush didn't have quite the same reaction, grimacing at the sight of the British betrayer.

Taco winced at Fan's loud voice, as it echoed through the underground lab.

"...Indeed," she spoke.

Fan was about to speak again-perhaps to rant about Taco's sudden appearance- but was cut short when Test Tube roared and began moving towards him.

"Umm, what is she doing?" Fan asked, beginning to panic.

Mic moved over to Test Tube to make it clear she wouldn't let her attack Fan.

"I dunno," Taco looked from Fan to Test Tube, "But it's probably best we don't wait and find out. We need to do something about...this." She gestured to Test Tube and Mic.

"Ah!" Fan shouted abruptly. Test Tube had pushed Mic away and gotten hold of Fan. She then proceeded to-once again-escape.

Mic and Taco just stared for a second, then Mic quickly picked up Taco and ran after them.

Mic was definitely faster than Test Tube, one of the perks of her "new look." TT realized this quickly, but she remembered a certain door everyone came through. Maybe... she could get out there. So, she retraced her steps as quick as she could.

Mic and Taco were on her tail, literally. Taco jumped from Mic's outstretched paw onto Test Tube's tail, only to fall right through the purple liquid that was TT's tail.

"Aah!" She screamed as she fell through and headed straight for a painful landing on the ground.

Thankfully, Mic was watching and caught Taco in the nick of time. Taco was covered in the substance she had just fell through.

"Eeew!" Taco shouted, disgusted. "What IS this stuff!?" She tried shaking a bit to get the liquid off of her.

"I don't know, but we have to get you on Test Tube to make sure she doesn't cause any trouble!" Mic told Taco, still running after TT.

"Right!" Taco agreed. "Send me!" She yelled, wanting Mic to throw her back at Test Tube. She closed her eyes, readying herself.

"If you say so!" Mic said, aiming Taco, then swiftly releasing her. Taco flew through the air, yelling in fear. She opened her eyes, ready to land on the Purple object-monster in front of her.

But, Taco realized Mic had overshot, and that she was going to fly right over Test Tube if she didn't do something quick. She tried "swimming" mid-air, but that failed.

There wasn't much else that she could do, but suddenly she was distracted. A burning sensation was beginning to arise where the last of the purple substance remained on the back of her edible body.

"Aaahhh!" She screamed in pain. What was happening? She couldn't see her back, but knew something was wrong. And that it hurt really bad. The wind of flying through the air made the pain even worse.

At first it felt like burning, but it soon felt like her hard-shell back was cracking. Then, two holes suddenly emerged in Taco's back and green wings sprouted from the holes.

"What the-!?" Taco exclaimed; the pain rapidly dying down. She was confused, but quickly realized she was near hitting the ground - and probably dying - when Mic screamed her name.

So, Taco subconsciously spread out the winds she didn't even know how to work. They acted as a makeshift parachute, and allowed Taco to slowly glide down to the ground.

What an experience, Taco thought, but the excitement wasn't quite over, because Test Tube was still stampeding straight towards her; a screaming Fan in tow.

Taco didn't move, too flustered. She just stared up at Test Tube, who was very close to trampling her.

Thankfully, even though she was currently a ruthless monster, Test Tube still had some decency, and came to a screeching stop inches away from the stunned Taco; who finally came to her senses once again. She quickly hopped onto the giant Test Tube, beginning to climb because she didn't yet know how to control the winds that she had just received.

Test Tube didn't like this, and roared, beginning to run once again. Fan, who finally stopped absolutely freaking out, peaked down to see Taco attempting to hold onto Test Tube's fast-moving leg.

"Taco!" He yelled out, trying to get her attention as she climbed the leg. She was pretty distracted for obvious reasons, though. Fan realized this and stayed quiet while watching her struggle, unable to help.

Mic had stopped trying to chase after the three when Taco made it onto Test Tube safely. It was safe to say she was shocked when Taco suddenly grew wings, but after thinking about it it made sense. The liquid of TT's tail was the potion, and since Taco was doused in it, it effected her, but not nearly as much as Mic or Test Tube.

It didn't look like Taco had control of the wings, though. She didn't even attempt to use them to fly, only to glide. Mic assumed she would try soon.

Currently, Mic was backtracking to the area they met Paintbrush and Fan in. She decided she was going to try and find Paintbrush, who honestly could have been anywhere. Mic thought she'd start where they were earlier, hoping they hadn't moved. Or maybe she'd encounter them on her way back.

Mic took the time to finally really take a look at herself. She was giant, of course. She was also furry. She took a look at her hands and feet, which were now paws with retractable claws, and opposable thumbs. She had a purple tail like Test Tube's, but it wasn't liquid.

Suddenly, a voice yelled, making Mic jump. "Mic! Thank goodness I found someone!" It was Paintbrush.

"Paintbrush!" Mic exclaimed. She thought about all that Paintbrush had missed in the past few minutes. She looked down towards the wooden brush. "Boy do I have a lot to catch you up on."
