I do drift a bit from the canon with Kai's demise cause, ya know, duh, as well as the stretch of time Kai spends in the 1903 prison world so he and Mikhail can bond and fall in love 😩💖
I do put my own spin on why Kai is the way he is especially with his childhood cause that deleted scene where he confronts jo really stuck with me and writing fanfiction about my babygirl- I mean Kai- is better than an 12k essay on him.
