Charlie had decided that the hotel residents needed to help with basic cleaning chores today, given that Nifty had been fairly swamped recently.
    
    When they'd groaned, Alastor had pushed them out of their seats with his shadows- grinning at their pained reactions.

    "Chop chop, everyone!" Al smiled. "Sloth is a Deadly Sin, after all!"

    Later that day, in the library.
    
    After dusting another tall shelf containing various books, Charlie decided to take a break. She sat at the nearest table before spotting a book on the other side.

    The pages seemed to have a golden shine; curious, she read the deep burgundy cover. A Demon's Guide to Pleasure stood out in gold lettering, making her blush a bit.
    
    "I shouldn't," she started to think. "But it could be interesting...."
   
    "No," she argued. "But-"
    
    Curiosity won her over. She looked around her to ensure no one was there with her; she snuck over to a secluded armchair and opened to page one.

    I: How to start

     Diving in is not always a good first step, for a demon may like to be played with first. Depending on the type of demon, it could be a simple tease or a first orgasm.

            She snorted. "If Al could have a kink... pain would probably be it."
   
   Maybe she should try the hair thing as a joke, for April Fool's or something. She smirked as she continued her train of thought. "His ticked-off reaction would probably be hilarious."

    "Oh? Is that how you want to do this, darling?" Al's face morphed into a teasing smile. "You know, if you'd wanted to play, you should have asked sooner...."
    
    Charlie almost fell out of her chair. Her imagination hadn't needed to do her dirty like that- what the heck! Her face was bright red.
    
    "Deep breath." She settled back into her seat. "Keep reading."
   
    This was a mistake because the book immediately started talking about how you could determine how much pleasure your partner was getting based on certain body parts ("For instance, slightly twitching ears on a prey animal").
    
    "Wait," She paused. "what kind of twitch?" 
    She tried to imagine that on a pair of red and black ears-
    
    "Oh- wait- no- don't-" She started imagining Alastor, who was always so composed- flushed, panting, ears jerking slightly despite himself- Charlie closed the book, leaning back. "Oh no."
    
    Okay. She needed a nap. Not to be thinking about how her very platonically-minded co-manager would behave in bed.
