It was almost night and I had a plan to try to blend in to get outside, to get weapons and food for Liam and grandpa so I put on a costume and went out. All the workers were looking at me so I had to act like them and say"excuse me but the store is now closed. Please exit the building" I said in a shy voice. They walked away and did not really care to much about it so I grabbed my book bag and secretly stuffed it with hotdogs and soda. But till I saw someone that was also trying to get something to eat
They thought I was a real worker so they came up to me with a bat swing, I dodged it and made a run for it like sonic. I made it home and told Liam and grandpa how I discussed myself as a worker to get more resources for us. Grandpa was a bit mad but happy I was alive. Liam did not really care as long as he got food or a weapon. Later that day we woke up to see grandpa with a scared face. What happens grandpa? I asked.
