The Tales of Annie

Chapter 1 - The Beginning

My bedroom door was left open, permitting the hallway light to beam through. I rose up, and shut the door. After I went over to my oculus glass window.

The scintillating moon hung in the night sky; ever so slightly beaming through the slender trees. Groups of guards roamed the streets. This was just an ordinary night however... you see the crime rate in the city at this time is high. Bandits and any other betrayers would visit on a regular basis. I'm not too sure why; my parents make sure I'm forbidden to that sort of information. They say it's for my protection. Is it cause I'm too young? Or perhaps they don't think I can handle it?

Because they're wrong.

The power I behold, from what I know of it... is extremely vigorous to stop the worst things from harming me. This power is known as 'tremendous arcane power'...

How rude am I not to introduce myself... I am Annie. Annie Hastur. My parents are, Gregori and Amoline. My father is the Grey Warlock, and my mother, the Shadow Witch. A long time before I was born, they led an exodus of magicians and other stuff I am not really sure about. However from this date, I am determined to learn the truth about what really happened. I mean. It's not that it bothers me. I just don't understand why I can't know about it. It can't be so confidential and private to hide from your own daughter...

As you can probably understand, I am unknown to a lot of facts.

Anyway. I love it at night time in the city. I don't really know why. But it just appeals to me watching the coruscating stars in the twilight sky, blink before me. I reached over to my bedside table and grabbed my teddy bear, Tibbers.

Tibbers is my best friend. He is such a cute gentle teddy bear that I've had for my entire life. My parents at one stage were determined to take him away from me. He is said to be the culprit of the arcane magic I behold. But he has never done something wrong! I think I may have obtained the magic from him, it's not like he has any powers. Throughout my entire life he has done nothing but been a loving cuddly teddy bear to me!
