Abby waltzed into the living room. "And if you look like a cat who just got cream. What could possibly be the reason behind that silly smile, my dearest friend?" Abbs asked as she slumped down on the sofa beside me. I looked over at her, not even trying to conceal my happiness. "Namjoon and I will be spending Saturday together," I said full of enthusiasm. Instead of preaching about my father and his Frankenstein hobby, she wrapped her arms tightly around me. Capturing me is a warm hug. "I'm so happy for you. Both Dan and I will be here for you. You deserve some happiness in your life too," she said smilingly. Grinning widely like the Cheshire cat. "So where is he taking you?" She asked curiously. I looked up at her. We haven't even discussed it. She gave me a warm smile and said: "Don't fret about it." She pulled out her phone and dialled a number, she were much to quick for me to catch  on. She put the phone to her ear, stood up and walked away as she waited for the line to be answered. I didn't hear her.

"Don't worry much, leave it to Dan and his friend. They'll make sure that the day would be extra special," Abby said after a moment. Knowing Daniel Miller, he would make sure that Saturday would be spectacular. Absolutely perfect. Unforgettable. He knows me, after all, the best. He knows what I like and dislike. Growing up, Dan used to be my best friend. Today I still see him as my best male friend, but these days Abby seems to fill that spot. I'm absolutely thrilled to have both of them as friends. Happy that I don't need to hide away from either of them. They know the situation with my father. I dread the day that, that piece of information leaks. The thought visibly painted upon my complexion in various colours. "What's the matter?" She asked when she noticed my reaction. "My Dad is bound to find out sooner or later. I dread that day already." She pulled me into a sympathetic hug. "Enjoy it while it lasts, Sam. I will be here for you all the way. Remember that," she said honestly. I try to shrug off the negative feelings, by averting my thoughts back towards Namjoon. His features popped into my mind space. I wish that I didn't have to wait until tomorrow to see him again. It feels so far away.

After a few more moments I made way to my room. I put on some comfortable clothes and climbed into my bed. The night air is chilly against my skin. I will take a shower before going to work. I pulled the comforter up and clenched it underneath my chin. I haven't had a man in my life for such a long time, and a cuddling session sounds good right about now. I closed my eyes and fallen asleep thinking about him. His towering figure. His eyes. His smile. His touch.
