The first thing that Haechan did soon as he woke up was to find his bestfriend. He ran downstairs to the garden where Aria was busy sipping her afternoon tea.
Haechan cleared his throat, which successfully grabbed her attention. She turn around, only for him to notice how dress up she is.
"Saan ang punta natin?" He asked. Aria smiled, a forced one. But even before she could start speaking Jaemin entered the scene and he's not alone...
Ria's eyes fell towards her foot after seeing who came to visit her bestfriend.
"Haechan!" She joyfully exclaimed and walks across the lad. "Have you read my messages last night?"
So things are really going well between him and Olive? And they were texting last night?
"U-ugh maaga akong nakatulog kagabi eh..." he answered, discretely looking at Aria to see her reaction.
Haechan did not want her to get the wrong idea. He had no interest on anyone especially with Olive. He's only interested with Aria. He had no idea how and why did she got there with Jaemin, but it seems important for her to travel all the way to his home.
Olive reached out something for her bag and handed Haechan his wallet. "You left that the last time we went out."
Aria on the other hand felt like she was in a movie only that she's not the main lead but her bestfriend is.
She watched how Haechan awkwardly took the wallet and smiled.
"Oh I have something important to say to you nga pala... that's why I'm here." Olive added.
"Pwede kayong magusap dito." Jaemin immediately suggested which earned him a side nudge from Aria.
She shook her head, "Iwan na namin kayo ni Jaemin para makapagusap kayo in private."
Olive reaches out for Ria's hand, "Thank you, Ria."
"No worries, Liv." She answered. Her eyes almost brimming with tears and her lips trembling with a smile. Jaemin wrapped his arms around her shoulders, guiding her out so she could leave the scene as soon as possible when Haechan pulled her wrist.
"Ri..." He looked at her with pleading eyes as if he did not want her to leave.
"It's okay, Chan." She answered, removing his hands that holds her in place before walking away.
Every step Aria took was getting heavier and heavier, it oddly made Haechan nervous and scared.
"Haechan." He felt a hand over his shoulders. His father was looking at him.
"Is Olive the one you had been talking about?"
"Yes Dad. She wanted to know something about one of your cases... and I'm here to accompany—" Haechan was cut off by his own thoughts.
Maybe, maybe he could leave and chase after Aria since his father was already there? He would surely understand.
And so Haechan did what his heart felt like doing that time. "Dad actually, pupuntahan ko lang si Aria, kayo na munang bahala kay Olive."
Haechan nodded at her, "Liv."
She smiled. "Go get your girl."
Haechan saw his father's confused look but he taps his shoulders regardless showing him his support. He plans on buying Aria's favorite sundae and meal at McDonald's before visiting her so he drove himself to the nearest drive thru.
He was singing happily to the music coming out of the playlist he recently made for his bestfriend as he drives his way home, excited to see her again.
It is to his dismay, however, to see the Jung's home all locked up, their car nowhere to be found.
"Hyuck?" Mark walks by near him, baffled. "Anong ginagawa mo dito?"
Haechan raised the paper bag of McDonald's he just bought, "Delivery kay Aria. Nasan pala sila?"
"Wait, Ria didn't told you?" Haechan furrowed his brows.
"Aria and his family will be spending the holidays overseas."
