Haechan felt like seating at the Jung's front porch and so he did. He has been there for a while now, just... thinking.

He had never been apart with Aria for more than a week, how much more for 3 weeks?! So many things could happen in a span of less than a month, he starts overthinking and when thoughts of Ria possibly meeting some other guy there and fell in love? Pano kung makapagmove on agad siya sa nararamdaman nito?

It all sends shivers down Haechan's spine, it's driving him insane. A Christmas without Aria is like Christmas far away from home. Basta may kulang kapag wala si Aria.

Haechan pre occupied by his thoughts, did not notice his father sat across him.

"Babalik rin yon." He said, grabbing his son's attention.

Haechan sighed, "3 weeks pa, daming pwedeng mangyari."

"Hey," He move few inches towards his seat to get closer to his son. "We haven't discussed about your shifting of courses. I don't know if this is the right time or not, but your mom told me about it."

Haechan looks at him, "I really want medtech, Dad."

"I know. I just want to make sure that you're not doing this just to be with Ria. You know, you can do what you want and still be with her right?" Haechan nods.

"But seeing you this determined... you must've your reason." He stood up and taps his shoulders. "I will talk to your mother, you don't have to worry about it. Just... just do your thing and we'll be supporting you from behind."

"Dad!" He called out. He reached out to hug his father. "Thank you, Dad so much."

"You know I'll do everything for all of you."

"I know, Dad." He pulls out from the hug. "I will try my best to be someone like you in the future."

"You don't have to be like me or someone like me... just be you." He smiles, reassuringly at his son and Haechan never felt his heart warm up that much because of his father. "I'll be more than happy."

"Oh and by the way... treat Ria right." Haechan felt all heat rose upon his cheek by his father's sudden commentary.

"If she permits me to take care of her, I will." Haechan answered. "She inspires me to be the best version of myself, Dad. Hindi ako natatakot sumubok dahil alam kong nandyan siya, she gave me so much courage enough to fly, it is surreal I know. I don't know what I'd do without her. Sakanya at sakanya parin pala talaga."
