~~CHAPTER FOUR~~

π∆JASON∆π

Jason kept running and did not dare to look back . What were those creatures and he was certain that  they had put something in his coffee. He lucky that he didn't drink he got to an alleyway and hid behind a dumpster and he spotted one of the guys from earlier running past the alleyway meaning they were following him . He waited until it was safe and he got up and ran out of the alley and kept running till he got to the town square. He found a bench by the fountain in the middle of the town square and sat down to catch his breath. He had breathing heavily and it took a few minutes for his breathing to return to normal. He still had the sword he had been given in his hand and did not dare to let go ready to swing at any monster or creature that would head his way. When he finally got up a kid who looked about 10 yrs old ran past and he wasn't sure whether he was hallucinating or not but the kid had wolf ears and a tail. And his hair was raven mixed with some black . The kid was dressed in a red jacked and black pants and Jason could tell from his speed and the terrified look on the kids face that something was after him . It wasn't long before Jason saw pig pairs of legs about to squish him and he jumped out of the way rolling in the snow . Where the wooden bench once was , was nothing but broken pieces of wood . Jason had managed to catch a glimpse of the creature's face it had wide mouth and one eye right in the middle of it's forehead . An orge? Could it be ? Jason rubbed his eyes to make sure what he saw was real and disappointed when the creature did not disappear when he opened his eyes  . People around did seem to detect the big creature and continued with their business like nothing was happening whick surprised him.
The creature kept chasing after the child and it kicked over a stand and fire caught the monsters foot but it had no reaction as the quickly stopped. Cyclops . Yes the name of the creature was a cyclops only creature actually immune to fire look like an orge but is very different. Jason wasn't sure how he knew all that but the cyclops kept chasing after the boy and though Jason didn't have experiences with them or so he thought he knew that they ate children human or not . He saw as the child was getting tired and tripped over a rock and fell on his back. The cyclops stretched out it's big hand ready to graph the boy and Jason felt an urge to help . Jason began running towards them but he knew he wouldn't make in time but suddenly his increased which was impossible he had been running at his top speed he felt like the flash for a moment and soon he was between the boy and the cyclops and he raised his sword taking a good slash at the monster's palm and instead getting blood splashed all over him it spilled golden dust? The cyclops moved his hand away crying out in pain and it's eye widened when   it landed on Jason."You you are supposed to be dead!"the monster shouted as it fully dissolved into nothing but dust. "Hey are you oka...,"Jason addressed the boy and cut himself of when he turned around and found that the boy was gone. He sighed as he walked back to the town square and caught by surprise when the sword be glowing brightly and his body began lifting into the air . By then it was already night time and as he flew higher the sword began pointing forward and Jason held on tightly so he wouldn't fall to his death he flew higher and higher until the town was no longer visible. Unlike most people who would be screaming at the top of their lungs because of flying so high in the sky , Jason was perfectly calm infact it felt like he had done this before more than once. He now had more questions. How was he able to run so fast but it felt like the wind was boosting him but that was impossible right? At least now he had his confirmation that the sword was magic. Was the sword  going to lead her to the girl now ? Was the girl piper? Jason's questions kept growing and he had a feeling something very interesting was about to happen.
