YOU DIDN'T JOIN THE FIGHT. even when draken informed you about the meeting for the upcoming fight with moebius, you refuse to partake. you're only getting started with your job, and ditching it would put you into trouble

mikey said that it was okay and they understand. you didn't mind it that much and was kinda relief that they understood and didn't bother you for it. you really can't have them bothering you while you're at work

you heard the bell chimed, meaning someone just entered the store. you didn't bother to look up, you're doing an inventory and you really don't have to look at the costumer when they enter, that would be a little bit creepy and uncomfortable for their side

minutes later, 3 bottles of alcoholic beverage was placed on the counter. you quickly went to scan the items and totalling the purchases before putting those inside a plastic bag

“that's a total of 1200¥” you looked up on the costumer. it was a lanky teenager with predominantly black hair and a yellow streak in the middle, he also have this lazy grin on his lips and that made your eyebrows to furrow

“woah, what a piercing red eyes you have there.” he commented while handing you the payment, you ignored him and quickly snatched the money from his hand to finish the transaction

you handed him the items that he purchased with the receipt. he took it but he's not moving, you expect him to left now but he's not moving. he's just staring at you

“what the fuck do you want?” your job doesn't really fit you because of your anger issues but hey, you're working hard to be the number one hero even if your attitude is like that

“for a convenience store staff, you have a very bad attitude. that's not how you treat a costumer” he said playfully, you irked, at this moment all you want to do was to blast off his face

“really? here's a bad news, i don't give a fuck.” you said harshly, you saw amusement played on his eyes, his grin grew wide. you rolled your eyes, you're growing impatient

“don't you know that i'm just 17 and you just let me buy an alcoholic beverage.” you clicked your tongue in annoyance, what's with the people in this timeline?

“you buy it yourself, i don't give a flying fuck about what will happen to you after. thank you for purchasing and don't ever come back here, sir.” you pointed the door, motioning him to leave, he chuckled and walked towards the door, but before he left, he dropped some words that you don't really mind

“the name is hanma shuji. remember it, mishka. you might meet me again.” you scoffed at him and you didn't even glance at him until you heard the bell chimed again, a signal that he's already gone

“what an ass.” you muttered before continuing your work. after your shift was done, you headed home. apparently, you heard on baji about the fight between mikey and the others against osanai. pah stabbed osanai and that resulted him to be in juvenile, now there's a conflict between mikey and draken

honestly, it shocks you how reckless they are despite being only teenagers. but you can't really do something about it, this is how they live on their timeline, very different than yours. you feel like you can't interfere on their life because that's the way they live it even before you came to the picture
