bloody halloween's finale

“I WON'T DIE IN YOUR HANDS.” baji took out a butterfly knife from his pocket and aimed it to himself. he raised the knife, ready to stab his own stomach, he heard shouts from various people— most of them are important to him but there's no turning back now. all of this is to protect his friends whom he considers as family too and his treasures.

baji closed his eyes before stabbing himself, but it widen immediately after he felt penetration but he can't feel any pain.

“what the hell do you think you're doing?” with wide shock eyes, baji stared at your bloody red pupils before he looked down.

“y/n!” several shouts are heard, baji was too stunned to move nor say anything. you grunted, soon enough, mitsuya and draken are already on your side.

“w-what... y/n, you!” baji lets go of the knife that penetrated your palm, blood gushing out from it. draken and mitsuya assisted you, worry on their faces. you gasped for breath, holding your stabbed hand, the knife is still there but it will be wise not to pull it out so the blood will slow down from coming out.

it hurts, of course it hurts. the blade is huge and a bit long, and it completely passed through your palm to the back of your hand.

“do you think... something will change if you'll die here? maybe there would be, but i can assure you, it's for the worst.” you said to baji who's still stunned, he can't believe he stabbed you, even though it's not intentional.

“oi... this won't kill me, assist baji first! he's freaking pale.” you yelled, chifuyu cried and ran towards baji, takemichi soon followed. mikey is frozen in place, his eyes are into you.

“y/n, why do you have to do that...” mitsuya gritted his teeth, he's just beside you while draken went on baji too because he already passed out again.

“what? would you rather see baji die than me being stabbed?” mitsuya let out a frustrated sigh but did not answer. of course, he don't want baji to die but he can't afford to see you badly hurt too.

“you... y'all can die and go to hell together for all i care!” no one even noticed that kazutora has gotten up and is now close to mikey. he's grinning but tears are streaming down his face.

“damn it.” mitsuya caught you when your knees wobbled, you vision starts to blurr, even your breathing isn't stable now. you know the stab won't really kill you but of course it will took toll on you.

“y/n! where's the damn ambulance?!” mitsuya shouted, some toman members are nice enough to dial the emergency hotline again.

“she's stabbed, far from any vital points but blood loss can take her.” rindou said in a low tone, eyes are focused on you.

“she's too brave for her own sake. just who are you, y/n bakugou...” ran narrows his eyes at you. on the other side, hanma have already gained consciousness before you got stabbed on the hand.

he got a serious face, his eyes are too, locked on you who's already down on your knees because of your blurring vision. hanma might want to go to your side, but right now, he have no rights to.

“goddamn...” mitsuya calling to your name was the last thing you heard before falling into unconsciousness.

mikey faced kazutora again and start beating him, but the others are too occupied to even stop him. takemichi got up to stop mikey, but he also got punched several times until a charm have fallen off from his pocket.

“where did you get this charm?” mikey asked, takemichi explained that he picked it from their last toman meeting.

“mikey-kun... if you're really going to kill kazutora, baji-san and y/n-chan wouldn't like it!” takemichi gulped, hoping that mikey is listening to him.

“baji-san tried to kill himself so you won't blame kazutora for his... death. y/n-chan caught the stab for baji-san so he won't die, both of them are unconscious now. but both of them, they don't want you to kill anyone!” they looked at takemichi with solemn look, thankful for the blonde for trying his best to stop mikey that even them  know, they can't.

soon, police sirens are heard.

“popo's here.” rindou tilted his head, even though they still want to stay to witness everything, they can't.

“we're leaving, boys.” ran announced, the others replied 'yes, sir' before scramming. the haitani brothers threw your unconscious figure one last glance before going.

hanma clicked his tongue in annoyance but he have no choice but to get going to. he can't explain why he's so worried about you but shrugged it off and waked away.

“i'm gonna stay with baji and y/n... all of you get out of here.” the toman higher ups looked at kazutora

“i did this, i want to be the one to settle this.” he said while looking down at baji and glancing at you, still in mitsuya's arms.

mikey didn't respond right away, thinking deeply. after a moment, he nodded and turned his back, walking away.

“let's get outta here, toman!” draken managed to say, although it's a hard decision for him too to leave you and baji behind.

soon, the captains per division are starting to leave too, their members following them. mitsuya is still holding you, he can't accept that he have to leave you and baji behind.

“mikey... i can't ask you to forgive me, not about shinichiro-kun, baji, or even y/n, but i'll carry this burden the rest of my life.” kazutora put his hands on his back and lowered his head, bowing to mikey.

chifuyu sniffed before letting go of baji who's breathing slowly. he stood up and walked towards toman to go with them, it took every strength in him not to look back.

mitsuya sighed and placed you gently on the floor, ambulance is coming anyway. even if they wanted to stay to make sure you'll get treated, they have to leave or the cops will surely arrest them.

“sorry, y/n-chan, baji.” he turned his back to leave with toman. they have gotten far enough when the police and ambulance arrived.

the cops arrested the crying kazutora while the medics immediately aided you and baji. mikey looked back, promising to visit you and baji on the hospital.

on october 31st, 2005, 150 members of the tokyo manji gang fought 300 members of valhalla. the conflict that ended in toman's victory resulted in two injured persons and one arrest.

and eventually that conflict, will be called the bloody halloween.
