It's a sunny day in the bustling metropolitan city, where residents are going about their daily lives in the densely populated capital city.

The roads are filled with cars and buses, that transport passengers to their destination. While the roads are always having traffic jams on the EDSA highway.

Elevated towers that encompass the entire sky with steel and glass that take people near the top of the sky.

The famous tourist spots are filled with tourists and foreigners who enjoy the white sands and blue water of their famous beaches.

The capital of the Philippines has a rich history, from the Spanish occupation to the nation's independence from American and Japanese military expansionism.

Supposedly just another normal day in the capital, but today an event occurred that would not only change the course of this country but also the entire world.

POV Random Fisherman

Arriving early at my favourite fishing spot, I packed my gear in my backpack. I scouted for the best fishing spot to improve my catch.

I found a great fishing spot. I sat on the rocky ground and prepared my fishing rod with various fishing hooks. As I looked around, I saw people exploring the area, some of whom were also fishing.

Then proceeded to insert my fish hook and cast down my fishing rod into the water.

After a few minutes, my fishing rod began to bend over slightly till I felt a sudden movement. I softly reeled in my fishing rod consecutively. And a healthy Tilapia dragged out on the water, struggling with the fish hook.

A lucky catch of an unfortunate fish then placed him in my ice box for preservation for my evening dinner.

Then I cast back again my fishrod in the water for more fish.

I'd waited for more of them, Till, I'd felt like I caught something. I reeled in my fishing rod and a plastic bag was on my fishing hook.

"Putang ina!" I'd swear for a bad catch remove the plastic bag and start again my fishing activity.

Then I waited around and got bored, till I decided to look around the bay and the sea for a moment. It's breathtaking to catch sight of the capital from this different perspective.

As I still watched the bay, I'd begin to a glowing blue fog above the seawater. Many people then noticed the blue glowing fog and began to take pictures of the glowing fog.

I wondered if it was a light show or a weird weather cloud from the water.

Many people send out pictures and videos of the abnormal cloud, then the cloud begins to dissipate to reveal a massive dark circle with multispectral lights beaming above the water.

Took out my smartphone and started taking pictures of the unnatural object and sending them to social media sites.

All around the country are shocked by the popular controversy of a mystery. A mysterious object nicknamed 'The Ring', suddenly appears near the Capital without any eyewitnesses seeing the appearance. However, the only thing they're talking about is, what is it?

Most experts answered, that it's a weather phenomenon and will disappear at any moment. But it didn't, so the Philippines government decided to deploy a patrol ship to examine the strange phenomenon.

What next will spark a significant historical event that not only the country but the entire world?

This story is kind inspired by the fanfiction novel Gate: Journey in the New World from Dom2040 and Manifest Destiny from DrDoritosMD.

The story is focused on the diplomatic and cultural exchange mechanics then the war scenes because we all know that the modern military can kick magic ass.

To give insight into a magic fantasy world would react to our world.
