UPPER EAST SIDE, NY.

ADELAIDE KINGSLEY is the epitome of aristocracy, according to anyone who ever laid eyes on her. Hell I mean even her name has king in it, how can one get more noble then that.

Adelaide began her days with a long drawn out soak in the tub. A tub filled with flowers as maids stood on either side of her giving her the early morning mani and pedi she had become accustomed to. As stylists expertly styled her hair, she spent hours gazing in the mirror, capping off her morning routine with lipgloss.

Adelaide's favored morning routine was kissing the mirror as she relished in the fact the genes of her ancestors could make someone as beautiful as her.

Adelaide, similar to the rest of the teens living in the Upper East, was born to never-fully present parents. The only child of a long-line of nobility. There was a reason she was known as the royalty of Constance and it was all due to her family name. A family whose members escaped France during the French Revolution and came to America. Adelaide was as old money as old money could get.

After the usual lonely breakfast, sitting at the head chair at the empty table. The fake promises of being together for her first day from her parents replaying themselves in her mind. She wouldn't ruin her day by remembering the fake promises made by her parents. She expected it by now, that they would not show up or even bother to call to apologize.

"Well I can't have everything now can I." She giggled to herself.

The driver was waiting for Adelaide in the entrance hall as the maid finally was able to fetch her Telfar bag from the foyer. On the ride to Constance, all that was on Adelaide's mind was how this year would play out.

———

HEADS TURNED TOWARDS THE ENTRANCE AS THEY HEARD THE FAMILIAR CLICKING OF HEELS. A model? Maybe. But no this wasn't a model this was the Kingsley heiress, the nobility of Constance. Heads turned as they all wanted to have a look at the heiress. Whispers were heard throughout the entire entrance as they all wanted to intake the newest fashion ideas.

"Is that a telfar bag?" Asked one of the students, making a note to purchase them all in different colors.

Adelaide made sure to ignore their mutterings taking her shades off looking for a specific group. A look of triumph came across her face as she saw her best friend.

Make way peasants or bow down Adelaide is back for another year of schooling.

———

"Good morning, Addie." smiled my best friend, Audrey Hope, as she walked over to greet me from her seat next to her boyfriend.

I pulled her into a hug, not caring to ruin my outfit. Out of everyone at Constance, Audrey was the only one who I could truly say was there for me throughout everything. We were friends from the time we were in diapers.

"I have so much to tell you." I replied to her greeting as I followed her to the table. I focused my attention on her as I was about to explain everything that happened since we last FaceTimed, after I gave a quick nod to Aki and Max.

A sudden ding was heard throughout the building urging me to check my phone.

Spotted!— the royalty of Constance, Adelaide Kingston,
together again with the best friend, Audrey Hope.
Will this happiness last with what Constance has in store
for them this year? Hmm, maybe not for long.

"Not even 5 minutes and we have already been the talk of the riff-raff's." I scoffed.

"Baby, you are the riff-raff." Replied a voice that I honestly knew too well by now.

"Ignore her." Muttered Audrey to me as I rolled my eyes.

"Good morning Luna and Julian." I said to the duo with her deciding to bite my tongue.

"What no good morning for little old me." The voice of Monet De Haan annoyed my ears. I honestly don't know how anyone puts up with her.

I analyzed Monet. Calmly realizing that she wanted to get on my nerves and annoy me.

Monet De Haan, one of the most annoying people anyone could ever meet. If you look past her beauty, you realize she's a real ICE COLD BITCH. I mean honestly somebody tell her to shut the fuck up. Oh, not to mention, the daughter of my parent's close friends and business associates. Monet will step over anyone in her path because she is adamant about getting what she wants. She has little respect for her "pawns" as people or for their feelings. Honestly, she's just like me, but let's not go into that.

I dragged Audrey away with me using the excuse that I needed to meet with one of the staff as my parents donated money for some room or hall.

"I literally can't stand her." I exclaimed to Audrey. "She's rude and always is trying to irk the depths of my soul."

"And what are you? An angel who has come down to bless mankind." Muttered Audrey making me hit her arm. "The reason for all these issues is that you don't realize that Monet lives off the fact she gets under your skin. You keep your mask up with everyone else, why is it when it comes to Monet you suddenly have a reply for everything? If I didn't know better I sense there is sexual tension between you both."

"I would never stoop down to sleeping with De Haan. She's not even my type." I shuddered at even the thought.

"What is your type? You have a stick up your ass babes. You need to get laid." Giggled Audrey at the fact I'm still a virgin.

I mean technically I am a virgin but honestly I'm just a virgin because I don't want anyone claiming they had that type of access to my body. You have to be completely and utterly vulnerable for sex and that really is just not for me.

"Oh my god. Adelaide, Audrey I've been looking for you everywhere. Have you seen the recent gossip girl?" Said Max who looked out of breath.

Just in— A little birdie says that there is sexual tension between
the De Haan and Kingsley heiresses. Will Monet be able to thaw the
frozen heart of Adelaide or will she remain a virgin forever?
