F4 - Canning & Kavin

Chapter 6

"So, you guys have any problem?" Lita asked. The guys discussed and nodded at each other before turning to Lita and Canning.

"We can proceed with the plan. Happy Cooperation." Lita shake hands with the guys but when they turned to Canning she just bowed to them, and left the room.

"I think she went near Gorya," Lita said. Ren nodded and came to her side.

"So is the meeting completed?" Gorya looked at Canning and gave her a serious look. Canning pouted and nodded her head.

"Sorry." Canning holds her ears. Lita smiled and Ren laughed. MJ and Thyme looked confused. Kavin was silent.

"Come let's go to my cabin." Canning took Gorya's hand and pulled her to her cabin.

"You guys come to my cabin. It will take some time for them to talk." Lita took them to her cabin.

"Was she like that in all the meetings?" MJ asked. Ren looked at Lita and they both looked back at them with pity faces.

"She at least asked Gorya to leave the room politely. Once Ren entered the meeting room without knocking, she asked him to get out before everyone. And once my PA did the same got scolded for no reason. I was saved because I am her partner." Lita laughed remembering the past incidents.

"Wait, partner?" Thyme asked. MJ also looked at them.

"Yeah even though my father invested in the company, Canning cracked a few projects with her ability and bought enough share to keep make her the CEO and largest shareholder of this company.  As for me, I became the second lager share holder in this company." Lita's words shocked MJ, Thyme, and Kavin.

"So she is rich now?" Thyme asked.

"Yes, these two girls are super rich now," Ren replied.

"Why did she become the CEO, why not you?" Kavin asked the sensible question.

"Well, her ideas made the company grew this much. And I just invest the money, she is the one who handles the work here, not me." Lita said.

On the other hand, inside Canning's cabin. Gorya sat on Canning's chair and Canning was doing situps in front of her.

"So, Canning what was your mistake?" Gorya asked turning around in the chair.

"I didn't contact you all till now, that's it." Canning stopped doing situps and went and sat on the chair opposite Gorya.

"That's it? And what about a while ago?" Gorya asked as she pouted. Canning just smiled looking at her.

"It was your mistake to brag into a meeting room and I am very serious about my work. I even scolded Ren when he bragged in like that." She said smiling at her. They both looked at each other and just laughed. Gorya stood up and came in front of Canning and they both hugged each other.

"So tell me how is your marriage life?" Canning asked. Canning handed the coffee to Gorya and took her green tea as she sat next to her.

"He became serious with his work but he still behaves like a child. You tell me how was your life till now?" Gorya asked taking a sip from her cup.

"My life? I will say that it wasn't easy or it wasn't hard. It has always been constant as I didn't expect much from life. I and Lita went through a lot when we started this company but now we are here as you see. So nothing is there to discuss my life." Canning said. They both chatted for a while and went to Lita's cabin which is opposite her cabin.

In side Lita's cabin, Lita was questioned by MJ, and Thyme about random things. But Kavin asked questions about Canning's life. Lita tried to give them simple answers that won't keep Canning. Ren also tried to help Lita.

They were interrupted by Gorya's and Canning's entry into Lita's cabin. Ren and Lita the chairs next to the table. Gorya went and sat next to Thyme on the big couch. MJ and Kavin sat on the single couches on either side of Thyme. Canning walked to MJ and hugged him.

"Hey, It's been so long." MJ hugged her and patted her back.

"Yeah, it's been so long and you didnt even tried to contact us. Why didnt you tell us where you were going?" MJ asked as he breaks the hug. She looked at Lita and Ren. They both shrugged their shoulders.

"I didnt want any distractions when I study. And I know that you guys may come to me when you all get bored." She said and sat next to Gorya.

"Canning you are insulting us! We never do such things right Kavin?" Thyme asked and the room went silent.

"Yeah, I know that. How can I forget what you did with Gorya back them." Canning said sarcastically and everyone laughed.

"You..." Before Thyme could make any comeback Canning's mobile went off.

"Excuse me." She said and went to the window wall as she picked up the call.

"She seemed to change a lot, don't you think?" Thyme said as all of them look at Canning.

"Yeah, something changed about her, and that to a lot," MJ said. Lita nudged Ren with her elbow.

"Yeah, she became serious about life now. Otherwise, she can't reach where she is now." Ren said.

"Was she like this abroad too?" Kavin asked Lita.

"Yeah. But she became more serious when we started working. Then..." Lita stopped talking as she saw Canning hang up her phone.

"Well, I got some work. I need to go. Bye, guys." Canning said as she hugged Gorya, Ren, MJ, and Thyme. Kavin thought that she would hug him too. But she only gave a handshake to him.

"Oh by the way Lita don't forget that we are having another meeting in an hour. And Ren dont make her tired before the meeting." Canning winked at him making the couple blush. Soon all of them left and only Ren stayed back in her cabin.

"What do you think about Kavin's behavior? He became quieter. And did you observe that he was asking about Canning the entire time?" Lita asked looking at Ren.

"Yeah, he became quiet from the past. I didnt say anything because I didn't want Canning to get disturbed. I didnt want her to get disturbed because of Kavin instead of focusing on her life and JJ(Short form of Jack and Jessica)." Ren said as he looked out of the window into the sky.

"What if he finds out about JJ? And what if he separates them to form her? She will either kill him or kill herself." Lita said leaning on his shoulder.

"It's her decision. All we can do is support her. But I feel bad for Kavin. We made him confess that he is in love with her." Ren said.

"We are there for them baby. We will support our friends. I got to go now or else Canning will come here and drag me with her." She said after looking at the time.

"I also need to go. Bye, see you at home." He pecked her forehead and left from there. The time passed just like that and thought the meeting Lita saw that Canning was disturbed by Kavin's appearance all of a sudden. She went to her cabin after the meeting.

"Are you ok?" Lit asked as she sat in front of her table.

"I am fine... at least I think so," Canning said leaning back on her chair.

"By the way how did Uncle react when you reach home?" Lita tried to change the topic. Canning just smiled as she know what Lita was trying to do.

"He slapped me and then cried with me. We talked a lot and we had our family dinner." Canning said while smiling at Lita. Lita could tell that it is a genuine smile and felt relieved.

"Well, I think you need to go home now. Our work is completed." Lita said after they discussed some work.

"Yeah, I need to leave too. Oh by the way ask Ren to send me JJ's school paperwork. I need to join them in the new school soon. And when I will join them in the new school I'll give you a call, okay?" Canning said when they reached the parking lot. Lita gave an ok gesture and they parted ways there.

Kavin who reached his house went to his room and lay down on the bed and sighed. He can't get her face out of his mind after leaving their company.

"'Canning! Will you forgive me? I am waiting for you all these years, can you see.' I thought to tell you this when I will see you but I couldn't. And I dont know if you will give me a chance or not." He said looking at the ceiling.
