you brighten her day

you and jenna have been off at work all day and you can't wait to see her because you're going to pick her up from set. before you drive to her you get some food. when you enter the car you get a call from emma. "hey y/n, are you on your way?" she asks. "yeah i am, what's going on? why'd you call me?" you ask worriedly. "well jenna's been acting strange all day, she was super moody and didn't wanna talk to anyone. maybe you know what's wrong with her?" emma said. you were worried about your girlfriend and started the car. "really? don't worry i'll be there in a couple mins." "okay see you then" "bye" you say as you end the call driving to set.

when you arrive you immediately go look for jenna and find her in her trailer, scrolling through her phone and drinking coffee. when she sees you she immediately gets up and smiles brightly. "y/n! finally! ugh i missed you all day." you step closer and kiss her. "i've missed you too, my love. are you okay? emma said you acted weird all day. are you sick? do you need something?" you say touching her forehead to see if she has a fever. "now that you're here i'm okay." jenna said as she hugged you and you put your arms around her waist. "i see you brought food. that's my girl." she said giggling and snatching the bag out of your hand. "of course i did. couldn't let you starve, can i?" you said as a joke. "nope definitely not. well let's go home so we can eat that delicious food. are you coming?" jenna said as you followed her to the door.

when you arrive home you eat your food and then go to bed, you both are really tired from work. you're about to fall asleep when suddenly a hand touches yours, intertwining each other as you looked at jenna just to see her staring at you already. "i love you y/n. a lot. goodnight." your cute girlfriend says. "i love you too jenna. so much. sleep well." you respond and lean in for a kiss. you taste her sweet lips and close your eyes, smiling. you feel so lucky to have her, you couldn't imagine a life without her. and that's when you knew you'll marry that woman someday.
