Tucker had finally moved I to Sonja's house since the taint had infected his house. He obviously missed his dojo, but tried to hide it. I could tell when I went to Sonja's house. I came over to tell them about Ianite. Wag was called over, and the four of us squeezed into the small living room.
"Okay, so a few nights ago, I had a dream that Ianite and Dianite were being tortured by Mianite. So, Dianite and I went to the end to make sure she was all right, but when we got there her house had burned. She wasn't there, though," I explained.
"So, you think Ianite is actually being tortured by mianite?" Tucker asked?
"Yeah, I think so." They all seemed to be at a loss for words.
"So, you saw the place, right? Do you know where it is?" Sonja asked. I shook my head.
"Dianite didn't recognize it either."
"How would Dia-"
"He took it out of my memories," I said, cutting Wag off. He made an o shape with his mouth.
There was a light knock on the door. We all froze. Sonja stood up from her place and slowly walked to the door. She pulled out her sword before opening the door. She got ready to attack.
"Ianite?" she gasped. She opened the door wider for Ianite to come in.
"I'm so glad I finally got here. All my stuff got burnt in the fire, so my power is a little drained," she explained.
"What caused the fire?" I asked.
"I tried to cook something my Spark always did. It didn't turn out very good, I suppose. Could I have a glass of water, dear?" she asked Sonja. Sonja left the room to get the water.
'I'm not sure about this, boyo.' Dianite's voice filled my head.
'What do you mean?' I tried to not react to what was going on in my head as Tucker and Wag talked to Ianite.
'I wouldn't trust her. Something is very wrong with her.'
'Why don't you just come here?'
'Well, I don't trust her.'
'She's your sister, though.'
'Exactly. You can trust that I know something is wrong.'
"Just come here." Everybody's attention was brought to me.
'Good job, Sparkly Bum.' Dianite appeared next to me.
"Jordan, a little birdie told me that you are no longer my champion." I didn't want to talk about that. I heard Tucker and Wag snicker. Sonja came back with the glass of water at the perfect time. I looked over at Dianite curiously. He was glaring at Ianite.
'It's not Ianite.'
'What? How?'
Dianite stood up, not breaking his glare at Ianite. He summoned a sword in his hand.
"Brother? What are you doing?" Ianite or the Ianite imitator looked terrified.
"Dianite," I said cautiously. I stood up and put my hand on his shoulder. "You better not be wrong."
"Wrong about what?" Tucker asked. "Is he going to kill Ianite?" Tucker pulled out his sword.
"It's not Ianite," I answered.
"You've made my dear boy a puppet," she said to Dianite.
"I will not hesitate to kill you, if you don't tell me who you are," Dianite spat with every bit of venom he had. Ianite stood up and put her hand on her chest.
