Chapter/issue 2: days gone

After all that has has happened 3 weeks pass deacon Hughes and his brother jax and his half uncle Jess and dad are out hunting greg and deacon talk
Jax: you know we ain't gon make it out if we don't get a move on.
Deacon: I know that but will doesn't wanna leave what do you want me to do shoot him and put him in the truck" Jax with an expression on his face he goes Jax :it's an option he already doesn't give a shit about neither one of us not even his own brother so what's stopping us." Deacon goes " even if we wanted to jess ain't gon leave without him it could get outta hand" jax says we won't let it alright we'll talk to him get through to him convince him that the cabin isn't safe anymore the dead ones grow by the minute out here. Will they're father over hears what they say they go over to Jess to try and talk some sense into him eventually Jess agrees to go but will isn't having it and starts an argument so greg knocks him out cold and puts him in the truck and they grab whatever supplies they need and leave. they end up in the middle of a town where they're truck breaks down " goddamn piece of shit" Jess says "told you this truck ain't going nowhere without a new respirator or a new coolant and we need gas while were at it so deacon looks for a new respirator and the coolant and jax looks for some gas possibly food deacon looks around and hears a voice on a roof he goes up a ladder and finds a survivor a sheriff named jimmy Blake they exchange a few words deacon says " we broke down just over there by the fence we need gas badly and a respirator and a coolant." he says "we'll I don't have gas or a respirator but we found this coolant in one of the abandoned trucks over there here you go although I do need batteries for my walkie-talkie so if  you can find me some I'll be able to come with if you have room" deacon says sure if I find some if I do you better hurry or you gonna get left" jimmy goes you got it so deacon goes into the covienient store across the way and looks around for batteries he encounters a dead one so he takes his crossbow and shoots in between the eyes and finds double A batteries and he takes it back to him and says "you better cover me while I make it back hurry up though." Jax finds more gas and found a respirator so Jax makes it to the truck and here come deacon and another survivor jimmy they hear a noise a kid running with a bag full of supplies in the path of them Jax grabs his piece and holds it to the kids head "who the hell are you" the kid goes "my names Noah Noah Cruz" don't mind me I was running from the dead you guys don't mind you got room Jax goes "nah we full" but deacon looks at him angrily and looks back at the kid and says "we have plenty of room just get in the back" so Greg contacts  his old army buddies and says meet us at the evacuation center in Virginia but they have to switch vehicles on the way there so they get a black SUV big enough for 6 people. So they enter the evac station and meet up with his old army buddies david,francis,Samuel,Darwin and Nicholas and they all arrive on the same highway that Shawn and Matthew and mason's family are on and jax goes "well isn't this a shit show what the hell is going on" Chris says "well we're stuck for the time being so get comfortable" francis says ain't no time to get comfortable. Dead ones climb outta the woods and attack they all shoot but Harold's wife gets bit by one of the freaks on the face Harold all sad and disturbed cries and says "honey it's going to be okay we will get through this" as she is suffering and burning up with a high fever Stacey goes "the fever is killing her she isn't going to make it her pulse drops every minute if we don't put her down she'll turn into one of those things I've seen it happen Chris!!" Harold goes just! Save my damn wife!!! Stacey goes "sir there's nothing I can do so Harold pulls out his knife and puts his wife down he says "I'm sorry I couldn't protect you josette I will always love you forever.
