Time jump: 5 months later the whole group are in the mountains set up camp in the mountains of Virginia while mason is trapped at the army refugee camp they refuse to let him leave so he works up a plan to get out of there 5 months captive for what reason he doesn't know cause they won't tell him the plan is to break into the armory and steals atleast a bag of weapons but he needs a distraction he lies to one of the prisoners there and says "I hear that the lunch there feeding us horse meat so the guy gets mad because supposedly he is a vegetarian so he curses at the lunch lady that gives him a distraction so the guards will be busy on him he breaks into the armory steals half they're weapons goes out the back window but three guards are waiting for him he has no choice but to kill them with his bare hands. He hotwires the truck and drives off and breaks through the gate and zombies get in he drives through the city and breaks down its outta gas so he runs to find some when he stumbles upon a horde of zombies he runs as fast as he can runners are chasing him through an alleyway and he finds another horde and he gets under a tank traps himself but he kills as many as he can until he finds an opening through the tank and crawls through a dead army guy he wakes but he is turned so mason shoots him ringing in his ear someone speaking through the com system "he says hey dumbass cozy in there" mason says "hello! Who the hell is this!" The stranger goes " my names Noah what about you" he says my name is mason I don't know if you know but I'm a little concerned in here." Noah goes "Oh man you should see it from out here it's like a damn biter convenience around the tank from here mason ask " you got a plan for me to get me outta here" Noah says "yea I'd say make a run for it" mason: that's it make a run for it Noah: yea man atleast the biters are occupied on someone else poor bastard never stood a chance on a horde that size what kind of weapons do you got mason goes hold on he checks the bag he has 4 high powered rifles 6 shotguns 12 handguns 8 machine guns and automatics over 1500 rounds he says I have a bag full of guns but I dropped another bag on the street can I get to it. Noah: just forget the other bag whatever you have grab it and run for a gate 5 blocks from where you are. mason goes "hey why are you helping me" Noah says "look man you're running out of time" mason grabs his pistol and the bag throws it over his shoulder and a hatchet he found crawls out of the tank kills the first one he sees and runs for it as he is killing biters Noah watches him as he makes his way to the gate in an alley Noah says "hey over here come on faster!!! Now come on" as mason shoots he runs outta ammo Noah: what are you doing come on!!! As he is climbing up the ladder mason is right behind him they both make it to the roof mason goes thanks for saving me Noah goes "your welcome so what are you the army" no just a man trying to get back to his family is all heard they would have come to the city but that didn't work out did it." As they both glance over the city full of dead ones Noah goes "whatever yee-haw you're still a dumbass here binoculars get more eyesight of the view over the city make sure you know where you're going" mason goes "thank you again" he follows Noah into a window he talks to someone on a walkie-talkie and says we have a visitor folks we have four biters in the alley they make it the back way four biters stumble upon them. Two people come out of a doorway hitting one of them with a bat mason and Noah run into the room the two other fellas follow them in there they reveal themselves to be Richard and mike and other survivors in the room with them Noah is here with Anna,Richard,mike,Jax,francis Anna says "why the hell were you just popping off a gun in the middle of the city with horde in the mixed" mason: "I got surrounded had no choice either that or die I'm sorry but I'm looking for my family hoping I would find em here but you saw how that turned out" they all hear a gunshot Anna:oh my god is that francis again with that damn rifle. Francis continues to shoot down biters Richard says "Francis are you fucking crazy" francis laughs "hey you outta he more polite to a man with a gun huh? Only common sense man" mike:man you wasting bullets we ain't even got man and you bringing more of em down on our ass so just chill it out. Francis goes "ahh that'll be the last thing I'll ever do is take orders from you I'm already listening to this low budget punk ass mechanic who by the way can't navigate for shit nah I don't think so bro that'll be the day" mike: that'll be the day y- you got something you wanna tell me. Richard says "Mike come on man back off" mike goes nahh Richard says "man it ain't worth it" Francis: I'll tell you the day I sure as hell ain't taking orders from a n***** mike gets angry and hits Francis but francis hits him back with full force and beats him to the ground mason tries to stop it but he hits him too he hits Richard who gets in the way he pulls a gun on mike and points it in his face Anna goes "Francis please I'm begging you don't do it please" he spits in his face and goes "why don't we have ourselves a little pow wow huh!? Talk about who's in charge I vote me how bout that show us some hands all in Favor!!! Good that means I'm the boss right anybody hmm anybody" mason comes up behind him and hits him to the ground and handcuffs him to a piece of metal Francis goes "who the hell are you man" mason goes officer friendly now listen here francis there are no rules anymore in this world there's only dark meat and white meat it's just us and the dead we survive this by pulling together not apart." Francis goes "screw you man" mason goes "well perhaps your missing the point" francis says "yea we'll screw you twice" mason goes "well now I'm the man with the gun only common sense as he points it at him. "You wouldn't your a cop" mason says how do you know I'm a cop? "The way you walk and carry yourself you gotta be a pig" he says "well not anymore I'm just someone looking for his family anyone gets in the way they'll lose I'll give you a moment to think about that hmm you got something up your nose there" Francis: what are you gonna do arrest me haha hey Hey! What are you doing man that's my stuff god when I get lose you better pray you hear me you pig You hear meee!!! You hear me you filthy PIG!!!!" They all sit on the roof wondering how they are gonna get off the roof mason comes up with a plan to grab one of the dead biters chop him up and spread his guts over you to smell like them him and Noah go out into the street it works for minute until it starts raining they're smell is exposed so they run for it they jump the fence and get into a truck to draw them away with noise the plan is in motion. So Mike stays on coms with everyone ready to go at any moment jax and Francis have a conversation Jax: what the hell were you thinking attacking him like that man I trusted you. Francis: "I didn't like the way he was looking at me" jax goes man look I can't even defend you now francis looks at him with rage Noah and mason break into a car that makes alot of noise so that Noah will lead them in the opposite direction so that when you hear the horn that's there signal to leave they all pack up and leave Mike tries to uncuff Francis but drops the key down the drain and leave's him apologizing as he make his way down to the others ready to leave francis is cursing and damning them all to hell Mike stopped long enough to chain the door as he makes his way down to the others the garage door opens Mike makes it just in time glass breaks biters get in they all hop in the back of the department van. Mike goes "I dropped the damn key"!! Noah is seen driving down the road with the horn going off uncontrollably he happily drives pass mason and the group they make it back to camp Shawn approaches Noah about the car " are you crazy man dragging this thing up here you tryna attract every biter for miles." Sorry I didn't mean to but I got a cool car at-least right Harold goes "well it be hard to pin point it's location out here in the mountains. Shawn looks at him stupid Harold goes " I'm not arguing I'm just saying but you need to really think next time will you" Noah goes " again I'm sorry about all that. The van approaches everyone comes out of the van Anna reunites with her sister Jessica and Richard runs to hug his family Matthew says "how'd y'all get outta there anyway" new guy he got us out. Matthew: New guy? Richard goes "yea some crazy shithead coming into town hey helicopter boy come say hello." The guy's a cop like you Shawn and Matthew look at him with suspense and with shock Laura looks like she'd seen a ghost Jon runs into his fathers arms so does Caleb he hugs his whole family Matthew staring at him in jealousy and Shawn just happy his best friend is alive mason looks at Shawn with a happy look.
