character: Tierra Gaelexi
Age: 27
Home planet Endor but grew up on Tatooine
Parents: Majar Gaelexi and dad is unknown)(mom was a mandalorian)(has never met her parents)
Works as a scrapper in Anchorhead. We meet her selling parts to Peli Motto in Mos Eisley. Din Djarin is adding on to his ship in the shop

"You want how much for this?!" Peli exclaims
"50 credits. That's fair for what I had to go through to get that part." Tierra states.
Peli Motto shakes her head. "No way. I'm better off letting the Jawas get me parts."
"Go right ahead but this part is rare. You wanted it and I got it for you. It damn near cost me my life."

"Almost cost you your life. Yeah, right. How, so?"
Tierra gets a very serious tone. "I had to dig through a decaying sarlacc pit to find that. Do you know how acidic it is down there?" She rolls up her sleeves to show acid burns along her arm. "These are gonna leave scars."

Peli Motto stared at the marks and sighed. "Kid, I like you working for me. But don't do that again. I'm not that desperate for parts." she tosses a bag of credits to Tierra. "Let me dress those for you. That's got to burn."
"I'm ok. I've had worse.." Tierra says.
Peli walks back into her shop saying, "I'm not hearing it. Get your butt in here and let me fix you up."
Tierra sighs loudly.
"There's no use arguing with her." Din says from under his ship, startling Tierra.

"Maker! I thought there was a droid working under there. You scared me a little."

Din chuckled a little. "I apologize. Didn't mean to alarm you."
Tierra peered under the ship to get a look at him. "Wow.. can't say I've ever seen a Mandalorian up close before. Your armor is beautiful. Beskar, right?"

"Yes." Din simply replied unsure on how to take the compliment. He slid out from under the ship and stood up so his full armor was in view.

Tierra whistled. "Very beautiful. Whoever crafted that did outstanding work."

"I..uh.. Thanks?" Din stammered.
Tierra smiled at him with kind eyes. "Hey I give due credit when it's needed. I'm Tierra Gaelexi." She reached her hand out to him to shake.

He grabbed her hand and shook it. "Din Djarin." He could have sworn the last name was familiar, that he heard it somewhere.

She looked at him for a second. "Hey, I know this is kinda out of nowhere and we just met but I have a question."

"Ask it."

"You guys take Mandalorian armor back after the passing of your own right?"

Din was confused. "Yes. Why?"

Tierra shuffled around uncomfortably. "Um.. My mom was a mandalorian. She passed away after I was born. She left me her armor, I guess in hopes that I'd follow her legacy but that's just not me. But her armor should be back with her people. If you'd take it back to wherever your people reside, I'd be extremely grateful. The armor doesn't deserve to collect dust under my bed."

"If your mother left you armor, then it's yours, whether you chose to be a Mandolorian or not." Din stated.

Tierra sighed. "Please I have no use for it. I want it back with her people."

Din stared at him for a moment. "Of course. What was her name, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Majar Gaelexi. I don't know all that much about her. Just that she was a Mandalorian. I don't even know what she looked like."

"I'm sorry for your loss." Din said, sorrowfully.
"Thanks. It's alright though it was like almost 3 decades ago. I was 3 or 4 months old when she passed." She tried to seem ok but was starting to shake a little. "Um.. but anyways I better get in there before Peli comes out and drags me in."

"We'll talk more later." Din replied and stared after her as she walked away.

After about an hour Peli had finished patching up Tierra's arms and paid her the rest for the other parts Tierra had brought for her.
"Now, no more sarlacc pits for you. If you can't get them the normal way then I don't need them that bad." Peli said, sternly.

Tierra chuckled. "Deal. As much as I like an adventure, I think the sarlacc pit draws the line for me."

Peli patted her shoulders. "I like ya kid, hate to see you down there with your skin meltin off." She looks over at Din who's getting ready to head with Tierra. "And just where do you think you're goin? Don't you have some things to put on your ship?"

"I'll be right back. Watch the kid for me." He gestured to Grogu.

"What do I look like? A babysitter?" Peli exclaimed. Grogu cooed at her. She sighed. "I guess you're too cute to pass up, huh? C'mon then, kid. Let's get you something to eat."
Tierra gestured her head towards her speeder bike. "C'mon, I got a two seater, you can ride with me."
Din was hesitant at first but followed her over to the speeder bike. "How am I going to get back if you're taking me there?"
Tierra chuckled. "Don't worry I'm not kidnapping you. I'll bring you back after."

"It'll be way after dark. You'd have to travel back by yourself. It's not safe."

Tierra gave him a playful side eye. "What? You don't think I can handle Tatooine after dark? I grew up here. I know how to take care of myself."

Din stumbled over words. "I.. didn't mean to.. I wasn't trying to.."

Tierra gave him a playful slap on the shoulder. "I'm messing with you. I appreciate you looking out for me, Din Djarin but I'll be ok though. I promise. Now, hop on."
