Din and Tierra walked into the building.

"Din Djarin. Back already?" a voice called out. Boba Fett walked out from the sideline to greet Din. He noticed Tierra and stood looking shocked. "Who's your friend? Have you taken on an apprentice?"

Before Din could say anything, Tierra walked up with an extended hand. "I'm actually not a Mandalorian." she shook his hand in a firm shake. She removed her helmet. "This was my mothers suit."

Boba just stared at her for a moment. "What was your mothers name? The suit is very familiar to me."

"Majar Gaelexi. I'm Tierra. Did you know my mother?"

Boba breath hitched for a moment. Fennec, who had been watching the encounter from the side, shot her gaze between Boba and Tierra.

"I did in fact know you mother. A long time ago. Almost 30 years." Boba paused for a moment. "How old are you, my dear?"

Tierra slid her helmet back on. "I'm 27."

Boba took a deep breath. "Do you know who your father is?"

Tierra sighed. "Unfortunately I don't. And I never actually met my mother. She died after I was born."

Boba looked sad. "I'm sorry for your loss. Your mother was a wonderful woman. We were very close back in the day. She left for a mission and we lost touch."

"Maybe you could tell me a bit about her. You're the only person besides the person who was my caretaker as a child, who actually knew who she was. I'd like to hear about her whenever we could sit down and talk."

Boba nodded. "Absolutely. You are welcome here, anytime."

Din Djarin interjected. "I actually brought her here to learn how to fight. She only recently put the suit on. She has very little experience with weapons and wishes to learn to fight."

"Actually I have zero experience with weapons." Tierra corrected.

Fennec looked at her shocked. "You've never shot a gun?"

Tierra shook her head. "Not once."

"If you learn from her, you'll be the best sharp shooter in the galaxy." Din said to Tierra.

Fennec stood up and walked over to Tierra. "I'm Fennec Shand. I'd be happy to teach you how to shoot. And as far as those swords you're carrying, Boba can help you there."

"Of course." Boba agreed. "I'd be happy to train the daughter of a...old friend."

"You'll be safe here. I trust them with my life." Din told Tierra.

Tierra looked at him. "Wait. You're leaving? I was kinda hoping you'd stay." She sounded a little sad.

Din shook his head. "As much as I'd like to, I've got to get back and finish the modifications on my ship. And I have Grogu to look after."

Tierra nodded. "I get it. Thank you for helping me. You didn't have to do all this for me but you have no idea how much I appreciate what you've done."

"Anytime."

"Hey once I get trained up, maybe I could travel with you. Give you help on missions and stuff. I've never been off planet before." Tierra suggested.

Din looked at her for a moment. "I'd like that." He rested his hand on her shoulder for a moment before turning to head out. "I'll keep in contact."

He paused for a moment at the doorway before continuing to walk out.

*Din back to Peli's*

"I can't believe you got her in that armor! You just met the woman and you already talked her into something."

Din was back under his ship. "It seemed like deep down she wanted to wear it. She just needed a little push."

"And now she's with that Boba Fett guy and the Shand lady learning to fight. That girl is stubborn as all get out and you got her in the suit and training in barely a day within meeting her. I don't get it. She never has shown any interest in befriending anybody, except little old me of course. You better feel special."

Din sighed. "Boba knew mother. I think he knew her a little more than he's letting on."

"Oh like he KNEW her. Like him and her mom..." Peli made a clicking sound.

"Something like that. And the timeline in which he was with her mom. It's a little weird."
"Weird like how?" Peli was getting curious.

Din slid out from under his ship and sat up. "He said he was close with her mom almost 30 years ago and then asked how old she was. She's 27."

"So what, you think Boba is her father or something?"

"It lines up."

Peli stood there, shook. "Oh my stars. OH. He's her father. Does she know?!?"

"No. She seemed pretty oblivious to his questions."

Peli gave him a stern look. "Don't you dare tell her. If Boba is asking the questions then he already has a rough idea that she's his kid. I'm sure once he knows for sure, he'll tell her. For now just let it go."

Din replied sharply. "Don't you think one of us should tell her? She deserves to know."

"Yes she deserves to know but not from us. If Boba Fett is her father, it'll come out sooner or later."

Din sighed and slid back under his ship.

Peli learned forward and looked under the ship at Din. "Why are you so invested in her all of a sudden. You just met the girl."

"She's a friend now. And potentially a future traveling companion. Just looking out for her."

"Traveling companion?"

"Potentially."

Peli smirked. "Din Djarin! You like her."

"Yeah, that's why I'm helping her."

"No, no, no. You LIKE her. Like REALLY like her." Peli stated, playfully.

Din quickly slid back out from under his ship and pointed at Peli. "No."

Peli laughed and slapped her knee. "Mando, you have a little crush on Tierra."

"No I do not."

Peli put her hands on her waist and gave him a smug look. She turned and walked back to her shop, laughing.

"I don't have a crush on her. It's completely platonic." Din argued.

"Keep telling yourself that!" She called behind her. "Finally he gets a girlfriend!" she exclaims at her droids.

Din sighed, frustratedly.
