We were still at the beach, I see James walking towards me and my face is frozen with shock, his is unreadable which is unusual since I can always read James's face.
I look to the ground, This was my first real relationship and the first one that I actually feel happy and loved in, I just fucked it up and made it awkward between us, I mess everything up.
"Reg, look at me" James says with his calm voice
I look up and the tears are coming, I quickly wipe them away so that James wouldn't see.
"I-I'm sorry it wasn't my intention to make it awkward or uncomfortable I just, it slipped and I- I mean it but I know you don't feel it so it's ok if you don't just please don't leave me" I stutter and pant after my rant.
"Hey hey, calm down I'm right here I will never leave you ok" He calms me down and wipes my face
"Look at me" He says gently yet also firm
I look up tears streaming down my face
"I love you, ok! I always will, and if you think for a second that I don't I will hit you with a stick" He says I smile
I close my eyes and let the words sink in
"I love you too" I say opening my eyes
"So I've heard" James smirks and kisses my lips softly, his soft lips pressed against mine like a jigsaw puzzle fits perfectly together. I smile into the kiss and wrap my arms around James's neck.

"Is that true?" Regulus asks
"Of course, I love you I thought we went through that already" James explains
"Yeah I know, but why me? Out of everyone, there are more cheery people, a lot more fun then I am, but you chose me boring, sarcastic, not as fun to be around. Why?" Regulus asked
"Well that's easy, you're you. I don't want someone whose 'cheery, and a lot more fun to be around' I want you. You're perfect in my book." James says with a smile, they had just gotten to James's apartment from the beach, Regulus was staying there for the night.
"But I'm not perfect!" Regulus argues
"REGULUS GET IT INTO YOUR THICK SKULL, I DON'T CARE IF YOU AREN'T PERFECT I DON'T CARE IF YOU ARE SARCASTIC AND NOT FUN! THATS WHAT I LOVE ABOUT YOU!!" James yells trying to prove a point to regulus
Regulus sits there frozen
"I don't deserve you" Regulus proclaims after getting over the initial shock
"You deserve better" James whispers staring into the younger boys eyes
Regulus shakes his head in disagreement
"I love you" Regulus says wrapping his arms around James's neck he lays his head into his chest and breathes in the scent of his lover.
"I love you too" James mumbles laying his head on the shorter boys hair, James kisses Regulus forehead and moves his hair out of his face, rubbing his finger where he had just kissed.
Regulus leans in for a kiss, James catches his lips and they kiss like there was no one else in the world.
When they finished James caresses Regulus's cheeks kissing his cheeks and neck, mumbling sweet nothings into his ear.
