Chapter five

Chapter five: woken up frightened

Soon frightened that Selene woke up as she faced a ghost butler in her face "what?" She looked at him still as a wolf/vampire/seer. "What just happened?" She hyperventilated from the dream, scared. 

The butler looked at her "madam you answered the oracle, that we have been waiting for you to help more of the people here." He got the tray for breakfast as well and he let the 2nd butler pour the tea.

He didn't say much as well as the 2nd butler; they both put blankets over Selene/Styx.

She was shaking too much as she held onto her bed "I'm scared this can't be real." She began to fall on her bed as she felt a needle in her arm and saw a bag of blood but it was blood tea which the first butler explained about what it was, she took deeper breaths.

She drank her tea but also her IV was draining into her body through the hose.

She was a wolf still she didn't know what was happening she was still unsure how to go back to the human form. She looked at her new room and she didn't remember falling asleep.

They must have somehow sleepwalked but she never did that before. She began to get worried as some instinct she held her tail whimpering scared she crawled to her stuffed wolf she had since she was in the orphanage from her birth mother but also she looked at the wolf smelling her fathers scent as she whimpered scared closing her eyes soon hearing thunder outside she began to try to think of something she read once.

She read it as well as knowing someone said it once, "when you hear thunder, remember it's just Mitch lucker stomping." Selene tried to remember that, she knew who Mitch was to which he was the late screamer/singer of the American band 'Suicide Silents.' The first song she heard from them was 'You Only Live Once.' Which came out in 2011 ever so often she would listen to it on YouTube and whenever Pandora played it.

Still shivering a butler came over as he had found something that only the blood moons could find control.

When they transformed for the first time. It was a collar along with an ID card. It also was something that made her no longer have nightmares or that's what was thought of, she kept whimpering.

As the nights lingered longer she was under her blankets trying to keep warm as she covered her ears closing her eyes unknowing what to do as she felt nervous about coming out she still saw people that others didn't but she didn't know what to do, she said something as she also heard Sebastian knock on the door.

Soon she jumped feeling her nails had grown as she looked around "what happened what's happening." She kept whimpering, feeling as if she was in a scary movie.

Sebastian waited with a dress maker "madam Selene or Styx's may I come in?" He didn't know what to say as he waited "I do have a dressmaker to help you with a new wardrobe." He soon heard Selene/Styx speak silently. "Y-yes but please don't be frightened of me." She tried to hide how she looked down.

Sebastian looked at her "you can relax madam Styx or do you proffer Selene?" He put some of the things that were needed in a new chair "your maid will be up soon. But madam the dressmaker has been in the family, and has signed a silent cluse everything is confidential. She can't speak to anyone of what she has seen. The family curse or gift has been around for too many years. Everyone here has been with the family for that long. We all sigh the same thing once we start plus the only cruel master or madam was Alice." He let the work that needed to be done remind Selene/Styx and the dressmaker know that he would be down the hall working on a bedroom if needed.

Selene stopped him "you can just call me Selene. Styx is an old name. If it must happen to be called that then I guess I will have to deal." She did as she was told once he left.

Soon a maid came in to help with what was happening "hello madam my name is Lyla Ember. Please ask me if you need anything. I shall be your lady maid." She did as she was asked as Selene stayed silent.

Selene took a breath as she looked at the maid "please no one needs to call me madam it's not correct." She felt her collar calm her other side as she turned more human.

She also felt her teeth calm down, falling back to how they were at one point. She again saw the others who were once hiding alongside her friends.

She didn't know what to do or say as she felt nervous again. She played with her father's ring.

As she did nervous again whimpering again about what was happening she growled a little. In the depth of her throat as she began to shake her hands unknowing rather she should be growling or anything she had never been rich or anything so she was worried about losing her respect for what was happening; she began to slowly hold the ring stopping herself from moving it.

Too much had been going on she sighed as she looked down unknowing she didn't want to say to anyone what was happening. 

She began to think as she sighed a bit unsure about what could say or something would be better for everything.

As she sighed a bit unsure what to tell anyone. As the afternoon was being prepared the dresses were being sketched.

Vincent looked at Selene after being told everything from the morning. He went to the study place to get his new mistress.

He had helped her as she had been lost in thought for a few moments as she smelled green tea that smelled like green tea from Wegmans.

Selene felt warm as she curled up to the stuffed wolf she had, when she got warmer she didn't say much to anyone.

The dream kept her mind occupied as she held the tea without drinking it. She just looked at the tea in the cup "what does everything mean that I saw who am I now? Have I always been cursed because of my bloodline?" She knew she was always different but now she was completely confused.
