I woke up, groaning away, nursing a major headache. I sat up slowly, only to come into purview of Sea. He was glaring at me from the corner of the bed, holding a plushie. I looked at him, my face was reddening. I was pretty sure he was going to ask me what went down yesterday. Just then, my pouty childish whines of the previous night also came into mind. Shit.

"You want to tell me what is going on, Hia? Why did you get so drunk yesterday? And you disappeared without telling us anything?!"

"I just wanted to get a drink. Sorry, I went overboard with it. I apologise for worrying everyone."

"Hia, can you please be honest with me? What is going on?! I know you remember clearly what happened yesterday."

"Nothing is wrong, Nong. Don't be silly."

"Nong? Did you just call me Nong? You never do that. You have always called me Sea. Why are you even calling me Nong now?"

"Well, you are my Nong. And its best that I remember that..."

Sea stared at me for the longest period of time. He then cocked his head confused at me but finally uttered, "Ok Phi, if that's what you want. I will call you Phi too, moving forth."

I stared dumbfounded at him. Did my fucking petty jealousy just backfire on me? "Sea.."

"Don't you even dare. I think I am done here. I am going to go ask the director on my projects for 2023 and maybe spend time with my new partner."

Shit. I quickly stood up, wincing in the process. I grabbed Sea's hand before he even could turn. He looked at me in surprise. I muttered the truth but he couldn't hear me. "What are you saying?"

I took a deep breath and looked at him. "I am your partner for 2023. Not Chimon. We are working together for a new show. The acting workshop that day was for us."

"Then why did you lie to me that your partner was Chimon?"

"I didn't meant to lie. I just... what I wanted.."

"Do I make you that uncomfortable or do you want to work with Chimon instead? I can let the director know if you want."

"No, its not that. Shit. Look I am sorry, I screwed up. Let me expl.."

"I am not sure if I want to hear you out Phi. Let's take a break from each other. I be in my room. You go shower and eat. Rest well."

That blew up spectacularly in my face. I pinched my nose bridge and sat down on the edge of the bed, feeling like the shittiest idiot in the world for making Sea so upset and done with me.
