[DIA] A World of Hate and Love

Snowfall

Fanny's P.O.V:

Fall break had pretty much ended but school was canceled due to the first snow of winter falling like crazy, so like any other high school student and because I hate having to wake up early in the morning I use this as a chance to sleep in. Of course Bubble seemed to have other plans.

Bubble: Fanny? Fanny wake up.

Fanny: Mrrrph.. what...? 

Bubble: It stopped snowing. C'mon let's go to the park together.

I sit up on my bed still groggy.

Fanny: I don't have any winter clothes at the moment though...

Bubble: That's also why I went to the store last week. Here, they should be your size.

Bubble then proceeds to hand me a a dark blue coat with white fluff inside as well as snow pants, boots and a dark grey scarf. I hop off my bed and attempt to put them on, it was a bit more bearable since my ankle had healed but I still needed some assistance as much as I didn't like having to admit to it.

Bubble: Need some help?

Fanny: Yeah...

We both got dressed in the appropriate attire for winter head off to the park where just about everyone was at (even some of my clubmates). Bubble met with Teardrop and they went off to see Black Hole, Tree and Remote.

Bubble: You coming Fanny?

Fanny: You go ahead, I'm just going to sit at the picnic table over there.

I put up the hood of my coat and sit down, since I still don't have a phone anymore I pretty much have nothing to do but look around and watch the others. Although Firey had apparently decided to come up and talk to me.

Firey: Hey there Fanny, is anyone sitting here?

Fanny: Probably not.

Firey: Ok.

He then sits down on the same side as me but not beside me, I didn't say he could sit with me but honestly I'll take the warmth his presence as a sentient fire brings.

Firey: So... um... 

Firey: How are things between you and Bubble?

Fanny: Don't make this more awkward than it already is. -OW!

A snowball then hits me from behind and Firey and I turn to face Nickel and Knife.

Fanny: WHAT THE FLUFF?

Nickel: You two wanna join our snowball fight?

Fanny: *grumble* No.

Knife: Come on Fanny, don't be a wuss.

Fanny: I'm not a wuss. Given my lack of arms and prosthetics like Nickel's I would have an unfair disadvantage so I'll pass on the snowball fight.

Nickel: Huh, I never thought Fanny would be about fair game.

Knife then throws a snowball toward Firey who panicked, however I used my tail to knock the ball away before it could hit him.

Firey: AAAAAAAAAAAAHH-! 

*whap*

Firey: Oh.

Knife: Fine be that way.

Firey: Thanks for the save Fanny, cold temperatures may not bother me but snow hitting and melting into water on me does.

Fanny: You're welcome.

Firey: Hey look. Pin has set up a hot cocoa stand, I'm going to go get some wanna come?

Fanny: I'll stay here thank you, but hot chocolate does sound nice.

Firey: Alright what do ya want?

Fanny: Just a simple cup with some marshmallows... But if Pin has whip cream some of that on top would be nice.

Firey: Ok, I'm getting myself some peppermint with chocolate drizzle.

Firey went to get in line for Pin's hot cocoa, while I waited I watched Black Hole, Bubble and Remote build a snowman together. I'd join in but I can't exactly do anything in building something especially of the size they're making that snowman. Eventually Black Hole and Remote get caught up in Nickel and Knife's snowball fight as well as many others making the snowball fight get intense enough to have to hide under the picnic table.

Firey: Yeesh that was close. Hey Fanny I got- where'd she go?

Fanny: I'm under here!

I wave my tail from under the table to show Firey where I'm hiding, a snowball then flies past Firey causing him to scream that ear piercing scream.

Firey: AAAH! Okay smart choice make room!

I scoot over for Firey to hide under the picnic table with me and he places down the mugs of hot chocolate he got us in front of us and we watch the chaos play out.

Later on I see Blocky, Pen and Eraser get caught in Black Hole's big snowball and crash in which I couldn't help but fall over laughing (even though I spilled my cocoa in the process). 

Fanny: PHHFT-! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Firey: Haha, yeah I love when cartoon gags happen in real life to. Haha.
