Europe, Early Afternoon

THE WORLD MELLOWED into a slow silence, the only whisper of a sound being the fluttering of breeze as it passed through the branches in near by trees. Despite the many people near by, despite their loud exclaims or the loud music that played in the background, the world wore into a silence.

Cladded in a a deep plunged body suit that had only small pieces of fabric to link the two sides, and high waisted black jeans, Mazeki reached up to remove the pair of sun glasses that balance on the end of her nose. She admired the intimate moments of people, and the feelings of calmness she had lost the way of feeling.

Reaching into her back pocket, she slipped out her new phone having given up on the old one after Elijah and Davina continued to call her in hopes of getting her to come back to New Orleans. Scanning her contacts, she tapped the only pinned and pressed the phone to her ear as she waited for someone to pick up.

The insistent ringing was cut short as the call were finally answered, causing the blonde heretic to widely smile. "Little sister, how goes it?"

"Mazie- we're well. How is Italy, find yourself a local delicacy yet?" Rebekah wondered, an amused grin on her lips as she thought about her sister enjoying the small bit of freedom she'd tried so long to escape their family for.

It were hard to understand, just the relationship that the two female Mikaelson's had. Both desired the same, both angered the same, but the two picked sides long ago that put them at odds. When there was suitable distance, the two got along marvellously, but when stuck to spend time with one another they were bound to argue.

"I've been a little to occupied to be looking out for anything particularly delicious, but we will have to see I suppose." Grinning to herself, Mazeki maneuvered around people crowding the sidewalk, bathing in the refreshing heat on her skin. No blood or grime in sight. "How is the sweet girl, enjoying the toys I've sent?"

"Yes, it seems that colourful monkey is now her best friend. It's almost insulting." Rebekah peered down into the crib we're a Drowsy Hope stirred, her small little hands grasping a monkey that were her size in length, however skinny enough for the baby to hold.

Mazeki laughed softly admiring the sky free of clouds or rain, illuminating the quaint town she'd come too. Some people danced in the streets with each other as the music played from a live band, others clapped to the beat. The green eyed immortal came to a halt and perched herself on a wall as she watched the sight gleefully.

"While that music is positively beautiful, I don't see why you had to travel all the way there for Hopes safety. Surely you could have shaked up with the doppelgänger in mystic falls." The youngest Mikaelson pointed out, walking away from the baby to sit down in a rocking chair near by.

"Kol and I were here in the fourteen hundreds, of course it were far smaller and more easily controlled."

"Ah, yes. Your twos little vacation from the family, Nik told me about that sometime ago." Rebekah nodded to herself albeit Mazeki didn't see it. The blonde stared at the window of the nursery, arching a brow at the clouded sky above.

"While we were here Kol befriended someone named Jasper, I later Turned him in the process of trying to come up with a new spell."

"So... you're interested in him why?"

Mazeki's eyes travelled through the band, landing on a man that sat on top of a barrel with a string guitar perched on one of his knees. He were a tattooed fellow with an earring, his hair were a messy tangle of darkness and he wore a pearled grin.

Mazeki's eyes travelled over both his arms strung with tattoos and a few bracelets before travelling up to his face to find that his eyes were already on her. Still wearing a pearly grin that she accompanied with her own. "He stuck around after me and Kol fled into the night after an encounter with Mikael. The city burned to the ground with a coven I helped create in its ashes. Jasper was a big part of rebuilding. If he's still here, he'll surely have some answers to my questions."

A round of applause were given to the band as they finished up their song, dog whistles and cheering filled the air as the group thanked the people for their time. During the whole thing, the fellow never took his eyes away from Mazeki longer then a second.

"And what questions are those?" Rebekah wondered in curiosity and nosiness.

Mazeki smiled to herself as the male walked in her direction. "We'll just have to see now won't we?"

"Maze-" But before the Original Woman could finish her sentence, her elder sister had already hung up.

The Ruggedly built man made his way up to her, his skin a darker tone and his eyes a few shades darker then her own. He had a childish charm to him as he tilted his head. "Hey there Beautiful."

"Hello Handsome." She tilted her head back at him. They stood in a giddy silence for a few moments before Mazeki squealed and quickly wrapped her arms around the male's broad shoulders and his arms slipped around her waist to pick her up.

As he set her down gently, the two couldn't stop the smiles that threatened to cramp up their faces. "Long time no see Maze."

"Yeah, No kidding Jasper. You look like a whole different person." The blonde chuckled. She looked around before meeting his eyes with a playful look. "Know any good bars?"

 "Know any good bars?"
