And when the rituals and prayers fail, You're not left with healing, but with broken pieces fragile, shattered and scattered. Set in Chicago, Illinois; Shankridge Shankridge is a major city tucked away in the middle of Chicago, Known for its gritty ghetto suburbs, Crime filled streets and booming amounts of baby mamas with no baby daddy to take ownership of all them bad ass kids. Shankridge is a city with twists and turns, while some suburbs and gated communities offer safety and peace of mind , Late nights often bring chaos and fear, especially for those in the heart of the city when there involved with the gangs and night life of Shankridge. You may see some citizens refer to Shankridge as "The Cut" or "The Shank", Its common for such names to be given to such tough parts of the world, mainly because prostitution is common here, many women and men turning to it as a side hustle. Some were pushed to there limits and have resorted to using voodoo to seek revenge on pimps who betrayed or mistreated them. It's a place where survival often comes at high costs and everyone has their own scars to bear, What will you come to think of The Shank? What happens when the "Shank" finally catches up to you and stabs that last breath right out? I guess we'll have to find out in Sage & Scars.
