JIMMY AND CAROL BROKE OUT INTO A FRENZY OF SCARED RAMBLINGS, looking to the only seat available on their ride to safety. Luci couldn't help but become anxious as the pair were attracting the attention of the dead.

"Both of you shut the hell up!" The Brazilian growled out, shocking the two of them into silence. He looked straight to the man on the bike, stepping forward as he spoke. "You have a knife?"

Daryl eyed the man, before pulling out his hunting knife and handing it over, he watched as the tanned male immediately turned and held out the tool for Jimmy. The boy looked down at the object almost mortified.

"Wait... what?"

"The lady gets the seat, we'll head back to the highway through the forest."

"Are you insane? We'll die!" Jimmy was sweating bullets, refusing to take the knife. Luci forcefully grabbed his hand, placing the knife in his grip.

"We will be fine, we'll get there by sunrise." He turned to the other two as he spoke. "The highway is where they'll go, right?"

Daryl nodded, signalling Carol to get on the bike. "There's a yellow car, got some set up for Sophia... that's where they'll go."

The pair nodded to eachother, a small, reassuring signal that this was the best chance they had. Luci pulled out a knife of his own, grabbing the sobbing boy's arm and pulling him along as the bike sped off.

--

The sun had risen on the highway, Rick, Hershal and Carl were worriedly awaiting the arrival of their family, slowly giving up hope as they hours ticked by.

"Dad!" The young boy called as he stood up, looking to the armarda of cars approaching with a gleeful expression. The bike, followed by two cars pulled up infront of the trio, who watched anxiously as people existed the vehicles.

"Mommy!" Sophia had jumped from the back of the pickup truck, running over to Carol as soon as she hopped of the bike. T-dog, Lorry and Beth exited the cab of the truck, the two running over to reunite with the only family present to them.

"Where's Shane?" Rick was quick to ask, not seeing his problematic best friend anywhere.

"He went to help Andrea... they were swarmed..." Glenn, holding Maggie by his side, looked down as he spoke.
