He was very wrong, because soon he found, sitting on the bed next to him, one of his closest friends.
"Caesar... Are you real or..."
Caesar Wu had the keys to his apartment, so he wasn't sure.
"Not for tonight, Didi. I am your Spirit of Christmas present".
"Tsk. Please stop… I already know that my life sucks. I don't need you to show me."
"It can always change, can't it? Come on, follow me."
And just as Connor had done before, Caesar took him by the hand and carried him away from his apartment.
Again, Wang He Di found himself at the home of Shen Yue's parents.
This time he didn't have to look out the window, though.
He was in Shen Yue's room.
He was amazed when he saw her there, curled up on the bed.
He walked over to her and realized she was crying.
Wang He Di felt a little dying.
He hated to see her cry…
He tried to stroke her face, but his hand was like a ghost's… He couldn't touch her.
He saw her pick up her cell phone and stare at it intently.
At that instant, someone knocked on the door.
Yue quickly wiped away her tears.
"Come in," she said in a tiny little voice.
Ms. Shen entered her room and looked at her with concern.
“Honey… Come with us, come on. You can't stay here crying all night,” she told her softly.
Yue nodded.
"I know, I'm coming" she tried to smile.
Ms. Shen sighed and sat down next to her.
"You keep thinking about him, don't you?"
"It's just that... Christmas was our day. Magical things always happened to us at Christmas. The last magic was the marriage proposal" Yue explained, trying to hold back the new tears that threatened to fall.
"Why don't you call him?"
"He hates me..."
"Don't be silly! You know he loves you!"
Yue didn't answer, she just stared at the floor.
And Wang He Di reflected on that silence.
He had made her believe he didn't love her anymore... But his heart was still so full of her.
"We have to go, Didi. You have to see something else," Caesar told him.
He nodded and let the spirit teleport him to a place he didn't know.
It looked like a hotel room...
Sitting on a couch watching a movie, crying, was Alice.
"What's happening to her? Why is she here? And why is she crying?"
"Because it was your fault that she missed her flight home, where she has a three-year-old daughter and a husband waiting for her. You knew that you could have shot that commercial even in a few days..."
He Di looked at the girl and felt like a worm.
What had he become?
He was about to approach Alice when Caesar took him back to his apartment and vanished into thin air.
