Trying not to slip, Violet ran down the high street to the coffee shop. It must have been getting close to closing time and she wasn't sure whether he'd still be there.

She skidded to a halt and the door, seeing the orange light still spilling out from the windows. She pushed the door open, making the bell ding.
'Were closed' Tyler said, in a tired voice. He had his back to her, sweeping the floor. He had changed out of his brown and maroon uniform, and into his own clothes. He seemed to be getting ready to close.
'Oh.. um..'. She muttered. He turned round in almost an instant.
'Oh, hey' he said, setting down his broom. 'I guessed you'd be back' he smiled. 'I left your blazer out in the back, I'll run and get it in a sec' he lifted a chair off one of the tables, presumably put there whilst sweeping, and set it down for her to sit.
'Sit there for a minute, I'll go get it.' he said. He pulled off his plaid shirt that he had been wearing like a jacket, and throwing it to her. 'You looked pretty cold' Tyler grinned. She smiled.
'Thanks'. Cold was an understatement. She was absolutely freezing.

She pulled on the shirt as Tyler left the room. It was still kind of warm from where he'd been wearing it. It smelled like him too. She could faintly smell his cologne, a warm, vanillary smell. It was little frayed on the sleeves, you could tell he wore it a lot. The shirt was much too big for Violet, but looked right, as if it were her own, as if it belonged. Before she new it, Tyler was back, with her damp blazer.
'Geez, you really are soaked' He snickered, looking her up and down, and yet again, sparking Violets butterflies. 'I can't let you walk back to nevermore in all that rain, I can take you back if you like?' This caused her to blush even more.
'Oh, its fine, you don't need to do that' She stuttered, secretly scolding herself for declining.
'No, I insist, your cold enough as it is, and it'll take you ages to get back, especially in the dark' he was starting to look more serious, almost like he cared. As if.
'Are you sure? I don't want you to go out your way' She said. She hated the idea of being an inconvenience or a burden.
'Not at all, I don't that far from the school anyways' His smile had crept back onto his face.
'Hmm okay' She said with a grin. He flashed her a half smile. Her stomach was doing backflips.
