Viggo and his older brother Ryker, were on a hunting trip. One hunter saw a village getting attacked by dragons, Viggo ordered them to sail to the Island. Only to discover the dragons had destroyed everything. The hunters already turned around to leave, until a baby scream fills the air. Viggo looks at Ryker, he looks back and nods. Both went looking for the baby. Viggo was the first one to find the baby, a dragon, the monstrous Nightmare, hanging on a wall, looking at the baby, angry, Viggo grabbed his sword. The older Grimborn has arrived now too with two hunters "Be careful. We don't want to hit the child." Viggo wispered to the three men on his side. Now the big red and black monstrous Nightmare turned it's head to the hunters, roaring. The little kid cried louder, in fear. The hunters shot the dragon and it charged at them. Viggo used the moment to slide under the dragons body to get to the baby, he carefully picked it up while the hunters were taking out the Monstrous Nightmare. Ryker ordered the hunters to bring the dragon on the ship. The younger brother looked at the baby, calming it down as best as he could, his expression was soft and caring "What should we do with the baby?" Ryker asked "We'll keep her" "What?" "Yeah. It would be cruel to just let her die out here all alone. Besides, she could help us in the future." "Fine, how are you gonna name her?" "Y/N" "Sounds good".

The Grimborns brought the child on the ship "Get me some fresh blanket and bring it to my room!" Viggo ordered a hunter, before walking down into his captain room, Ryker following close. Viggo sat down on his chair still holding Y/N, who fell asleep already. Ryker crossed his arm "You really like that kid" "How can't you?" "I never said i don't like Y/N. I only said that you really like her. You know, like she's actually your child" "Good idea brother. I will be her father from now on." "Sure, fine with me, as long as you won't loose sight of being a good chief." "Come on now brother. You know i was in for that position for my whole life. Of course i won't loose sight of that." "I know i know." Ryker sighed at the end. The door opens and a hunter comes in with a blanket "Here Lord Viggo" "Thank you.". Ryker grabbed the blanket for Viggo and gave it to his little brother.

And so the Grimborns got a new family member.
