Chapter 2: Clear as Water

Nobody's POV:

Today was the day. The day where all survivors would graduate and become real demon slayers. The sun was starting to rise, and Sabito, who just woke up, was standing outside looking at the rising sun.

Sabito just sighed. "It's almost time." He later went inside the shack to wake Giyu and the other two contestants up.

"Giyu, wake up. The sun is here." Sabito shook Giyu and he finally woke up.

Giyu groaned. "Sabito?" He then rubbed his eyes.

"We gotta get going soon. Today is Graduation day." Sabito replied.

"Alright. But we shouldn't those two behind." Giyu said.

"I know. I'll wake them up. How are your injuries? You feeling better?" Sabito asked.

Giyu nodded. "I'm fine. I feel a little pain with my left arm, but it should be fine."

30 minutes later...

Sabito, Giyu and the other two slayers finally made their way to The Wisteria waiting area. Murata and Ozaki were shocked to see every contestant that competed back unscathed.

"I-I can't believe it. Not one single contestant died." Murata uttered.

After waiting for a bit, two high ranked slayers with crows finally appeared before them all. One being a male Kinoe and other being female Kinoto.

"Congratulations on surviving the Final Selection." The Mist Kinoe congratulated them all.

"We're glad to see that you're all back in one piece."  The Thunder Kinoto said.

Ozaki spoke out. "So what happens next?"

"We shall issue you all uniforms. We will take your measurements, after which your rank will be engraved." The Thunder Kinoto explained. "There are ten ranks. Currently, you are at the lowest rank, Mizunoto." She added.

"What about swords?" Murata asked.

The Mist Kinoe answered. "We will let you choose the ore for your swords. However, they will take ten to fifteen days to complete." He raised his arm and let his crow do the work.

"CAAAAW!!!!" His crow cried out.

A few seconds later, a bunch crows began making noises. Sabito, Giyu and the rest of the contestants looked at the sky to see many crows. The crows soon flew down to select a slayer they want to be with, some of the contestants got a little frightened.

"EEEE" Murata jumped.

"Uhhhh, what are the crows for?" Ozaki asked.

"They are Kasugai Crow. They are used for communication." The Thunder Kinoto answered, and then...

Ozaki's crow spoke out. "Caw! We inform our master of your process."

"WHAT!?!?! They can talk!?" Ozaki was shocked and several others were surprised.

Sabito and Giyu weren't surprised since a talking crow was the one that informed the two and Urkodaki of Makomo's death.

Sabito, not wanting to wait more, soon spoke out. "So where do we get the ore for our swords?"

Seeing one of the contestants being a bit impatient, the Mist Kinoe responds by walking to the table to pull a large rag which revealed the ores. All the contestants soon focused their attention at Nichika.

"CONTESTANTS! Take an ore! The steel for the sword that will annihilate demons and protect you will be your own choosing." The Mist Kinoe explained.

Giyu looked at Sabito. "Let's go, Sabito. Let's pick an ore."
