My days are just like the usual. Boring. Tiring. Never been any different ever since. I don't know what I'm missing in life that I don't enjoy it anymore. I have money. I have some friends. I have a job. What else am I missing?

I'm too tired of chasing the flow of life.

It's just a never ending cycle. I'll just let the wind take me somewhere good.

"Cornelia," I played with the french fries with my hands as I was in deep thoughts. We weren't that close but we still manage to meet each other in a fast food restaurant like we're the bestest friend.

"Hm?"

"Do you know a lot about our boss?"

"No," Cornelia munched on her burger like it was the only thing in the world. I smiled. She was really... nice to go be with. Unlike the others, she wasn't talkative and she was perfect for me who was never good with keeping up a conversation.

"Do you like the new intern?"

Then, she choked on her burger. She slammed the table, begging for something to drink. I panicked as I grab the bottle of soft drinks from the side, giving it to her in hopes that she will be alright.

"Are you alright? C-Cornelia?"

"How could you say something so absurd!" wow, I think that's the longest thing she's said.

"I'm sorry!" I gave an apologetic look before pressing my hands together. It was kind of obvious, to be honest. She blushes around the green-haired male every time he walks by. She has never blushed at someone before.

"Stephen is really cute, though! Doesn't he look like a nice guy?" I lied. No men are kind, being a jerk is their nature. But I cannot deny that Stephen did have the looks too aside from being cute.

It is a matter of how he styles his sage-colored hair.

I don't know though, I don't see him a lot. We have never talked to them as it was rare to see him outside of their office.

Cornelia became even quieter while we eat, and I'm not complaining. There's so much more beauty in life than words and conversations.

"Do you like August?" I knew she was going to get revenge on me somehow! How could this-- lazy girl be this aggravating!?

But why do I feel my face hot? What's in his name that it makes me... Feel like this? I don't know what's going on at all.

"Nope."

"Oh," her expression was unreadable. Now that I think about it... Cornelia was beautiful. Theoretically speaking, everyone is beautiful, and I'm not speaking from vicious desires. I'm not into girls or anything, I just know to appreciate someone's beauty.

Cornelia had two braids, she always uses her pink hair pins to tie them. Her hair was just like August's sister's, it was in a shade as dark as the ocean, Prussian blue.

She had these lazy jade eyes that were always creased.

She dresses up naturally, I suppose. Her sense of fashion wasn't bad. Not too dark, not too colorful for the color palette. Not too much, not too little. Just exactly average.

"You're staring."

"It's nothing."
