It was dark.
That's all I could remember, it was dark.
"How long is this going to take..."
Cornelia whispers as she kicked the stone on the ground, neck stretched like it would do something about the never-ending line.
I am Marjorie, people tend to call me Ree as a nickname. I got used to it.
I fixed my long, light-blue hair as I sigh. Nakakapagod din ang gabi gabi kong pag-uwi.
The woman in front of me was my guide regarding the process of this line. Once she moves, I'll move too. She had a long blonde hair that had a curl on her bangs. She was wearing a white tank top along with a pants that suits well with her Gucci belt.
I wanted to remember her features so well... I have a feeling that I want to.
Ang tagal naman nang bus.
K'onti nalang at uulan na.
The wet puddle reflected my golden eyes, it was nice and sharp, my long and curve eye lashes was dominating my eye area and I was loving it.
Oh! There's finally a bus.
I made my way inside with a small smile on my face.
Once I'm finally home, I went in the tub for a sweet and warm bath. I definitely needed that after a long day of paperworks.
Then, my stomach started grumbling.
I ended up ordering food, I didn't want to cook anymore.
Was going to watch Netflix but then a news played on the tv...
Flash News! A citizen from xxxx-xxxx-x was found dead. The crime is suspected to be rape as signs of it are scattered all around the body.
I took a closer look at the dead body that was half-blurred... there's probably blood. The woman on tv had a blonde hair... that had the most familiar shade.
...It couldn't be the woman I was with earlier, right?
Come to think of it, the area she died in was one of the bus' stops.
In the end, I wasn't able to eat because of the feeling of sickness.
If... if I stopped her earlier from going down... would things be different?
The world can be... Cruel sometimes.
