Oliver flopped down on her bed and pulled out her phone. Turning it on she pulled up Google and began to type 'Ink demon' into the search engine. Pressing GO she was immediately met with several links and images. Pressing on images she began scrolling through the pictures. They were all terrifying most of them were just the face, but they all had the same large bone-chilling grin. Taking a deep breath Oli went over to the videos. Instantly Oliver was met with a wide variety of videos clicking on the first one she saw she began to watch it. The video started with two teens walking through an abandoned building it was an old publishing company that had been shut down for unknown reasons, but after talking to a few old employees they discovered it was supposedly haunted by a demon. So, there they were exploring the building trying to hunt down the demon. The walls were covered in ink splotches and there was ink dripping from the ceiling, their footsteps echoed through the empty halls and the floorboards creaked at every step. Suddenly a black figure raced through the hall in front of them. Oliver sucked in a breath, "What was that?" She whispered. The video continued to play, and the teens followed in the direction of the strange black figure. As the video progressed the figure continued to show up for a few seconds, but it always disappeared not long after. Finally, the teens ended up in a small room with what looked to be a printer in the center of the room. The printer was covered in ink and the only light bulb in the room hung directly above it.
"What is this place?" A girl's voice asked. A boy stepped in sight of the camera and surveyed the room and then responded, "I think this is where it lives or at least where it was created." Oliver bit her lip, "I don't think you should be in there," she whispered. "This will be the perfect place to set up the trap," the boy declared. As he began to set up some sort of contraption. "Um, I don't think that's a good idea," the girl holding the camera replied, "What if it gets mad? Maybe we should set it up outside the room." The boy rolled his eyes, "Don't be such a wuss. It'll be fine. Besides if we set it up outside the room then we might not catch it, if we set it up in here then we'll be sure to get it!" The girl let out a sigh, "If you say so. But once you set up the trap can we get out of here?" "Yes," the boy huffed, "But we have to stay in the building so we can hear when it gets caught." The girl sighed, "Fine." The camera stayed focused on the boy as he continued to set up the trap Oliver watched intently waiting for something to happen. Suddenly the sound of something falling could be heard from behind the girl. Whipping around the camera landed on an empty pencil holder the girl with the camera turned back to the boy, "We should go," she said. "No not yet I'm almost don-" the boy didn't get to finish his sentence he was cut off by a large clawed black hand tearing through his chest. The boy began to choke on his blood and the girl let out a horrified scream. The figure threw the boy's body to the side of the room. The camera was shaking but there was a clear shot of the creature. Its head almost touched the ceiling large, curved horns sat on its head. It stood on its back feet while its large, clawed hands hovered in front of it, but its most horrifying feature was on its face. You couldn't see the eyes as they were covered by ink that dripped from its head the only visible thing was a large toothy grin that was on its face.
Oliver felt the hair on the back of her neck stand up. Suddenly the girl with the camera took off running abandoning the room and the demon. She tore down the halls that she and her friend had been walking down minutes before towards the exit. Screeching could be heard from behind her as the monster chased after her. The doors were in sight when the girl tripped over her own feet and fell to the ground camera falling from her hands and sliding across the floor. The only thing visible was the wall but you could hear the girl scrambling to her feet and running towards the camera on the floor the sound of the demon was drawing closer as the camera was being picked up. The girl continued to race to the door and finally reached it. Swinging the door wide open she dashed outside and quickly turned around and slammed the door shut just as the demon turned the corner its smiling face trained on the camera. Turning around the girl ran through the abandoned parking lot toward a little red car. When she tried opening the door it was locked. The sound of frantically rummaging through her pockets could be heard from the camera which was currently sitting on the hood of the car. Eventually, the noise stopped, and the camera was picked up but instead of going in the car the girl turned in the opposite direction and began running. Soon enough she was out of the parking lot and running through the woods not long after she entered the woods the camera turned off and with that the video ended. Oliver sucked in a sharp breath, "So this is what everyone at school was talking about," she muttered. Her mind flashed back to the demon's face and Oliver shuddered that smile was so haunting, and the video made you feel like you were there. Closing her eyes Oliver tried to clear her mind of the awful images but suddenly the boy's face flashed into her mind.
'Mike' her brain supplies 'You met online'. Oliver's eyes snapped open, and she gasped. Her mind flooded with memories from the night before and how she and Mike had heard about the Ink demon from an old newspaper article. Mike wanted to go catch it, so she went along they wanted to start a monster-hunting channel on YouTube. She was the girl with the camera the demon almost got her. Oliver could feel her heart racing in her chest. Mike died right in front of her! She could feel her hands shaking and her eyes tearing up Oliver began to gasp for air. This was a bad idea she shouldn't have watched the video before bed, she knew better than that. Frantically opening YouTube Oliver scrolled through her 'for you' page and quickly tapped on a Dream SMP animatic and began to watch it, but she couldn't shake the awful images from her head. After watching about ten different videos Oliver's phone died. Sighing she plugged it into the charger and decided to go to bed. Pulling the covers up to her neck Oliver turned and faced the wall. It took a while, but she eventually fell asleep. About thirty minutes later she woke up to the sound of floorboards in the corner of the room creaking. Rolling onto her back Oliver tried to turn her head but she found she was frozen in place. Oliver's eyes darted around trying to find if someone was in her room but all she could see was the ceiling. But then she heard something. It started softly but then it got louder "London Bridge is falling down falling down falling down London Bridge is falling down my fair lady," a child's voice from what sounded like an old radio that was filled with static sang. Sucking in a deep breath Oliver squeezed her eyes shut willing for whatever it was to go away. Oliver had heard of sleep paralysis before, people can't move their bodies and they hear or see things, but she had never experienced it before.
But she knew for a fact it was nothing she ever wanted to experience again. The voice continued to sing, and she heard something approaching the bed until she could see what it was. Towering above Oliver was a face. Its eyes were obscured by ink that dripped from its head and a large toothy grin spread across its face. Oliver tried to scramble away but she still couldn't move the demon stared down at her for a few seconds before raising its clawed hand and in one clean swipe tore her head clean off.
This story is based on the one time a got sleep paralysis. Not a fun experience I wouldn't recommend it. I hope you enjoyed it! Sorry I haven't updated in a while couldn't think of any ideas and I don't like making stories on things that have already been used. Anyways, have a great day! 🙃
