As the group comes to a stop around a corner they soon begin happily celebrating their success.

"Wow! Batty, Alexis you were fierce in there." Freddy says happily.

"As were you." Alexis says as she smiles.

"For a poodle." Batty says as she smiles.

"Thanks uh... partners." Freddy asks happily.

"Uh I wouldn't go that far." Batty says.

"Sorry. Teammates?" Freddy asks.

"Mmm... stop being weird." Batty says.

"Okay. Pals?" Freddy asks.

"Well if you really wanna be pals why not take us to that meat now?" Alexis asks.

"Uh, yeah. Uh... hmm. About that, um... hmm." Freddy says nervously.

"Uh... hmm. It's kinda complicated." Freddy says.

"Mmm. Room full of meat? All you can eat? Sounds pretty uncomplicated to me." Batty says.

"Yeah. Let's go." Alexis says happily.

"No... No... You don't understand. Mmm... the thing is... right now's not the best time for me to bring home a couple of... dogs." Freddy says as Alexis and Batty look at him.

"I get it. You're a hoity-toity purebred who looks down his snout at strays like us!" Batty says angrily.

"What? Huh? Oh... no I didn't mean it like that." Freddy says.

"Played by a poodle? I'm such an idiot!" Batty says as she runs off.

"No I think you meant exactly what you said. You know something? I thought you were different. I thought you were a good guy... but I was wrong." Alexis says coldly as she runs after Batty.

"No Alexis wait! I am different! Alexis, Batty!" Freddy shouts.

"Alexis, Batty?" A voice asks revealing to be Freddy as he find Alexis and Batty in a couple of makeshift dog houses.

"What do you want now?" Alexis asks coldly.

"Get lost. You got your dumb ring." Batty says angrily.

"Wh... what is this place?" Freddy asks as he looks at the dog houses.

"Our homes. What else?" Alexis asks angrily.

"Don't feel bad. It's not the first time I've been ditched. You think you're so special. I was supposed to have an owner too. And a house. With kids. And toys. Alexis is the only family I've had." Batty says as Freddy looks at her and Alexis sadly.

"Oh Batty, Alexis. I'm sorry. The reason I can't take you home it's... it's not you it's my family. The truth is you see... I'm a... I'm a werewollllll... bl... ergh. I'm a werewo.. ooh." Freddy says as Alexis and Batty look at him confused.

"What?" Alexis asks.

"I'm a werew-w-w... wuh!" Freddy says.

"You're a were...?" Batty asks.

"I'm awaaaaaare... I hurt your feelings? Who am I kidding? You know what I am? I'm a screw-up. That's why my family doesn't want me. Not like this." Freddy says sadly.

"Like what? Spit it out." Batty says.

"This! A stupid fluffy poodle! They're all so big and fierce with their claws and shiny coats. That's why I've got to take this ring back. Then they'll take me seriously. See that I'm good enough. You think I'm a weirdo, huh?" Freddy asks shyly.

"Maybe just a bit." Batty says.

"Not at all. I think what you're doing though is for the wrong reasons. While it's admirable to take back a family possession it's something else to wish you're something you're not. I know that better than many do. But I do know one thing. It's what inside your heart that counts. Not what's on the outside." Alexis says as she smiles kindly at Freddy causing him to blush slightly.

"She's right you know. We might be small but we our mighty." Batty says.

"My dad used to say something like that." Freddy says.

"Bet our version's better. Huh? Huh?" Batty asks happily.

"Eh it was okay." Freddy says as he smiles.

"Ha ha! Houndini!" A voice shouts as the two dog catchers grab Alexis and Batty.

"Let go of them!" Freddy shouts before he gets caught as well.

"Ha ha! Three-for-two deal!" The man shouts as the group is thrown into a van and locked inside.
