A couple weeks later as Alexis is sitting outside by a pond one morning she soon feels something placed around her neck and sees it's a necklace with the Lupin crest on it before seeing Freddy in his human form.
"It's beautiful. You didn't have to do this." Alexis says.
"I wanted to. Call it a thank you for forgiving me." Freddy says as he sits beside Alexis.
"Well it wasn't like I was entirely truthful either." Alexis says as she looks at her reflection in the water.
"Yeah but I lied for selfish reasons. You didn't." Freddy says as Alexis smiles at him.
"True Pinky but hanging with you wasn't all bad." Alexis says.
"Hey! I dyed my hair back. But I agree. It wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be." Freddy says as he chuckles.
"Really now?" Alexis asks.
"Yeah. You're a pretty cool girl. You and Batty both.. especially you." Freddy says as Alexis smiles.
"You too. Thanks again for giving us a home." Alexis says kindly.
"No problem. When I become high howler I'll make sure dogs are always welcome here." Freddy says confidently.
"You're gonna make a great high howler. You know that?" Alexis asks shyly.
"Maybe.. but there's one thing missing for that." Freddy says.
"What's that?" Alexis asks curiously.
"A beautiful mate." Freddy says as he smirks.
"Are you hinting at what I think you're hinting at Pinky?" Alexis asks.
"You gonna slap me if I am?" Freddy asks worriedly.
"Hmm. No. But you coming with me for a few nightly strolls to better know ourselves wouldn't hurt." Alexis says as she stands up.
"I think I can do that... on one condition." Freddy says happily.
"And what's that?" Alexis asks.
"You let me see who you really are as a human. If I am gonna have you as a I mate I wanna know my mate inside and out." Freddy says as Alexis sighs.
"Alright Pinky... Well?" Alexis asks as she nervously shifts to human form.
"Wow. You look amazing." Freddy says as Alexis smiles shyly.
"No I don't." Alexis says.
"Yeah you do. So.. how about that walk?" Freddy asks happily.
"Sounds perfect." Alexis says as she walks off with Freddy.
