"Months we've avoided these guys. One day with you and we're busted! No dog has ever come out of this place." Batty says as the group arrives at the pound.

"Oh come on. It can't be that bad. It's okay. It's okay. We can handle this." Freddy says before the group hears a loud roar.

"What was that?" Alexis asks in alarm.

"Okay. We'll make a break for it. Run Batty! Run!" Freddy shouts as he bolts as soon as the doors are opened only to get stopped as he tackles a blonde woman as Alexis and Batty fight to stay in the van but end up being forced out and onto the floor beside Freddy.

"Hey boss? You're not gonna believe who they caught. The Great Houndini!" A man says.

"All that fuss over a couple of scruffy pieces of fur barely worth the time. Your friend, on the other hand... Hmm. Very interesting hair. Put them in the poochy salon." The woman says as the group is forced into a dog salon.

"Get your mitts off me!" Batty shouts as the group is pushed into a room.

"You can't do this to us! You animals!" Freddy shouts angrily as the door closes.

"Is it really you?" A voice asks.

"No! It can't be!" Another voice asks.

"Houndini, Alexis?!" Another voice asks revealing to be three dogs.

"And Freddy Lupin. Uh we're a... we're a team." Freddy says happily.

"I thought you two ran alone Houndini." A dog says.

"It's complicated." Batty says as Alexis nods.

"Name's Twitchy. Top dog around here." A dog says.

"You? But... but you're so... little." Freddy says as he looks at the dog.

"Did you just call me little?!" Twitchy asks angrily as she jumps at Freddy before the other two dogs calm her down.

"Okay. You're forgiven. For now." Twitchy says reluctantly.

"Hey. Name's Hamish. Pack psychologist. Naturopup, shaman, healer of ills, friend. This bruiser here he's called Bruno. All he says is ball." A white dog says.

"Okay. Well make yourselves at home." Twitchy says.

"Oh no, no. I-I need to get out of here." Freddy says worriedly as Alexis sniffs a grate in the floor.

"Hmm. Where does this lead to?" Batty asks as she pushes a rock down the grate only for the others to tackle her and Alexis away from the grate.

"Are you crazy?! That's where the dog-eating dungeon ogre lives!" Hamish shouts.

"The what?" Alexis asks in confusion.

"Nobody gets out of here. Believe me we've tried everything." Twitchy says.

"Okay obviously you've never worked with Freddy Lupin, Alexis, and the Great Houndini." Freddy says.

"We haven't found anywhere yet that can hold us for long." Alexis says.

"Give us 24 hours. We'll find a way." Batty says as she and Alexis begin looking around.

"24 hours?! I don't have that long! I need to get home." Freddy says worriedly.

"We need time to think." Alexis says.

"Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool. Okay agree. That's great. Cool. Okay. So... have you thought about it yet?" Freddy asks as he follows Alexis and Batty around asking the same question repeatedly.
