Sapnap wouldn't let go of him even if he asked. Dream had turned the heat up and started driving back to Tommy's house, stopping at McDonald's to get him a smoothie first.

The second they stepped through the door Wilbur and Techno latched themselves to Tommy. "Where did you go? are you ok? Why are you so cold?" They pulled Tommy to the couch and covered him in blankets. Dream had pulled Phil into the kitchen to talk and Sapnap, Techno, and Wil all crowded around Tommy as he started crying his eyes out. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to yell. I know you care" Wilbur kept mumbling his own apologies. Sapnap started to feel like crying himself.

When Phil came out of the kitchen, his eyes were red and puffy. He crouched down in front of Tommy and grabbed his hands. "Tommy, I never want you to feel like you don't belong here. Your mom meant the world to me. She gave me the greatest gifts I could imagine" Phil looked at his three boys. "She gave me you. She convinced me to adopt your brothers. I could never replace her. Replacing her means replacing my livelihood" Phil pulled them all int a hug and looked Tommy in the eyes when he pulled away. "We will never forget her. I don't want you to ever think we don't love you or her" Tommy grabbed Phil's jacket. "I just felt like you all were pushing her away and I was going with her. Kristen's really nice, it just felt so fast" Phil nodded. "I know Tommy. I shouldn't have pushed this so much"

Dream walked over. "If you ever feel this way again, please say something. There are tons of people that care about you and would listen. What happened today almost killed me" Dream pulled Tommy off the couch and into a tight hug. Techno finally spoke up. "Wait...what happened after Tommy left the house?" The mentioned blonde stiffened in Dream's hold. He slowly turned to face everyone. Wilbur and Technoblade looked confused and Phil looked down at his hands.

Tommy breathed in slowly. "I got lost when I was walking around and my brain kept saying things. Awful things. I thought no one would miss me if I disappeared. I headed to the subways and I almost-" Phil let out a sob that startled everyone and Techno jumped up from his seat and grabbed Tommy's shoulders. "What were you thinking!? How would that.. How could.." He trailed off and slumped his forehead against Tommy's shoulder. "Tommy how could you think we wouldn't miss you?" Wilbur sighed. "I'd be devastated. I called everyone in my contact list and begged them to find you. If you hadn't come back. If I had lost my baby brother" Wilbur rubbed the side of his head. Tommy wanted to reassure them. He was ok. He leaned his head against Tech's and whined. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry" He reached out for Wilbur and the brunettes grabbed his hands as tears rolled down his cheeks.

Hours of hugging and crying. Tommy has passed out on Technoblade's lap as the man wouldn't let go of him. Dream and Sapnap had left but not before Dream made Phil promise to get Tommy into therapy. Phil looked at his boys. He promised to make sure they never felt like that again. He wouldn't lose them.
