Merry Christmas! Or happy holidays if you don't celebrate!
I was gonna post the actual story today when i decided to put out a Christmas 'special' instead :D
So enjoy this and maybe ill post the main story later on this week since its WAYYYY overdue!
============================================================================
Christmas was never Bakugos favourite holiday and nothing could change his opinion of that. The whole meeting up with family you haven't seen in months then getting gifts that you'll never use or most likely throw out was never exciting to him.
But he could clearly see the excitement in Fox's eyes when he wished Bakugo a 'Merry Christmas'.
Every year since he was a kid, his parents always asked what he wanted and he always responded with 'I want to be the best.' He never elaborated on what he wanted to be the best in so they always assumed it was to be the best hero out there.
But Bakugo didn't truly know. Yeah, he wanted to be the best hero but he wanted to be the best in something else. He just didn't know what.
This year Bakugo decided to be kinda 'festive' and buy the class presents. Albeit discreetly since it would shatter his pride if he was caught buying someone a genuine gift.
So, the whole of December since the tree was put up by the class, Bakugo had been buying gifts and putting them under the tree. He wrote whoever's name on the gift but didn't put who it was from. It was a great plan in theory.
By the time Christmas day came around and all the class was in the common room giving each other gifts and opening them, Bakugo had managed to get almost everyone a gift. He never put one persons there. And no, it wasn't Deku.
But Midoriya was the one to figure it out.
"Fox did you not get one with the gold wrapping paper? Everyone got one...WAIT! Are these from you?!"
Everyone looked up and funnily enough, Fox didn't have a gift with gold wrapping paper. Fox looked around and slowly shook his head.
"Sorry those aren't from me...i just didn't get one. Which is totally understandable! I wasn't expecting any gifts anyway." Fox was waving his arms about making sure they knew that it was alright.
Kirishima looked down at the text message on his phone then stood up. "Hey, Fox! Why don't you go get Bakugo from his dorm? He might still be asleep and we all know your the only one that can wake him up without getting killed."
Fox though for a second and nodded his head. He said a quick goodbye to the class and made his way to fourth floor. He walked up to his boyfriends door and knocked.
"Hey babe? Are you slee- "
Bakugo opened his door and basically dragged Fox inside before he could finish his sentence. He walked over to his bed without a word and pushed Fox on it.
"Uh hey now..."
Bakugo didn't even look at Fox, he just pushed him down then disappeared into his connected bathroom. Fox was going to ask what was wrong when Bakugo came out the bathroom with a nervous expression and was hiding something behind his back.
"Kat? You look nervous are you alright?"
Bakugo bit his lip then sat down next to Fox on the bed. "..i got the gift you gave me this morning. I..I appreciate it." Bakugo was trying his best to sound 'nice'.
Fox chuckled and responded "Yeah i knew you'd rather me do it without the class watching us!"
Bakugo looked down and practically threw a present with gold wrapping paper on Fox. Fox sat and stared at the tiny box that landed on his lap.
"Open it dumbass."
Fox slowly nodded and ripped open the wrapping paper. Bakugo was nervous at this point, what if Fox didn't like it? It was a small gift so what if he wanted something bigger?
When the paper was off, it revealed a rectangular black box. Fox stole a glance at Bakugo and slowly opened the box.
When Fox saw what was in the box, his throat closed up.
Bakugo panicked when he saw that Fox was crying, he didn't know what was wrong or how to comfort someone!
"Did you not like it? I can return it but just know that i will kill you in your sleep!"
Fox chuckled and shook his head. He turned to Bakugo and brought him into a hug.
"I love it kat. Even if you didn't get me a gift i would still be happy. I'm just glad to have you y'know.?"
And it was that moment when Bakugo realised what he wanted to be the best at.
He wanted to be the best boyfriend and hopefully husband to Fox.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"...and I'm so fucking happy to say that I've half accomplished what i wanted to be. Just know I'm gonna be the best fucking husband for you dumbass!"
The people in the crowd laughed and Fox did too as well as he wiped a tear away.
There was a moment of silence before Mic began talking again.
"So, do you Fox Aizawa-Yamada take Katsuki Bakugo to be your husband? Do you promise to be faithful to him in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to love him and to honour him all the days of your life?"
Fox nodded his head and smiled "I do.."
"Do you Katsuki Bakugo take Fox Aizawa-Yamada to be your husband? Do you promise to be faithful to him in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to love him and to honour him all the days of your life?"
"Of-fucking-course i do!"
Katsuki and Fox stared into each others eyes waiting for Mic to continue.
"You may now kiss your husband."
Fox grabbed Katsuki and dipped him into a kiss.
Their family and friends were all clapping and cheering. Kirishima was standing behind Katsuki with a fist up and muttering about how 'manly' the whole ceremony was.
Fox and Katsuki stood back up and walked down the aisle to start their newly married life together.
Whilst walking they were giggling and talking. "Cant believe i managed to persuade you to get married on Christmas, Fox."
"Well it was worth it."
"Fucking better be dumbass. Or should i say Mr. Bakugo??"
Christmas was now Katsukis favourite holiday.
