Alice POV
"Alice!" I heard coming from behind me. I turned around, and saw boy dragging Victor behind him. "Alice, I need to tell you something." "What, is it?" I asked. "Vic-" he got cut off by Victor covering his mouth, and he pulled the boy away.
That's weird.
4 days later
"Hi, Alice!" I saw Ellie smiling and walking up to me. "Hi, Ellie."
"What, did you get on the project?" "A+"
"How's Victor?" She said smirking at me. "I actually don't know. We haven't talk, or interacted with each other in a long time." I said.
"He'll come around. So, wanna go visit Sara later?" "Sure, sounds fun." I smiled. "Great, see ya after school." She waved and walked to class.
Cafeteria.
I sat down at my favorite spot. A table, on the far left, next to the windows. No one comes around here. Ellie sometimes sits with me, but she mostly sits with her soccer team. They have a big game next week, against the school's rivals.
They found new graffiti on a wall, at the west building. And, they chopped off cherry blossom tree branches, which made me furious. I finished and my lunch and cleaned the table.
I decided to go on a walk. I went to the courtyard, and I saw 3 students messing with the cherry blossom trees. "Hey!" I yelled. They saw me, 2 of them ran but one of them came up to me. He grabbed my wrist.
"Cute. Little nerd girl trying to protect her precious trees. Little girl needs a lesson." Lesson? He better not do anything bad. "Let me go!" I yelled. "Shut up!" He yelled. I felt tears starting to form in my eyes.
"Pretty, though." He said, and smirked at me. He got closer to my face, and I tried to hold back the tears. I saw a fist hit the boy in the right cheek. He fell to the ground, and the person grabbed my hand and we raced out of the courtyard.
I saw it was victor who saved me. "T-thank you." I said. I felt him cup my small face in between his hands he looked at my expression. I felt like I was going to break down at any second, until I felt his warm lips lay upon mine.
Time seemed to stop. It felt like magic, nothing I have ever experienced before in my life. The kiss felt like a sweet addictive drug. That I've never stop, taking.
