Alice POV

We walked to the park, and we started to talk. I sat at the top of the slide, and victor at the bottom. There was no one in the park, except some performers playing music.

"Can, I ask you something?" I asked. "Sure, what is it?" He asked. "What made you choose me? You don't like sweets and I do. I am into books, and you're not. You're an Athlete and I'm a nerd, I play the violin and you play the electric guitar. I'm your complete Opposite."

"Even though I don't like Sweets, I can buy you some, and watch you eat them happily. I can teach you sports and video games. We can read books together, I can learn the violin, and play together. I still love you, no matter what." He said.

I slid down, and was next to him. "Really?" I asked. "No matter what." He said. He caressed my cheek, and got closer. My eyes got wider, but he stayed calm. "I'll love you, no matter what." He said. And kissed me, I felt him wrap his arms around me.

I kissed him back, and he let me go. I put my head on his chest, and we kept quiet. Eventually, we got up and started to walk home. "Good night." He said. "I had fun, We should do it again sometime. Good night." I said. He kissed my cheek, and waved. I saw him run down the street.

I walked in, and didn't see me mom. "Mom? Mom where are you?" I walked through the house, but no one was home. It was 8:30 when I came out of the shower. I put my hair in a towel, and put on my pjs.

I walked downstairs, and saw my mom walk in. "Mom! Where were you?!" I said, "Sorry, honey. I had an Emergency shift, at the restaurant." She said. "Oh, okay. You had me worried." I said. She hugged me, "Did you do your homework?" "All, finished." "Chores?" "Yup."

"Good. What did you do with, Ellie?" She asked. "We, went to a cafe and hung out for a while." I said. "Well, I'm glad to hear. Okay honey, I'm going to sleep. I'm really tired. Good night." She said, and kissed my forehead. "Good night mom." I said, and she walked upstairs.

My mom overworks herself sometimes, which worries me. I don't want to lose her too. I watched t.v. for a little, and then headed upstairs. I brushed my teeth, and went to bed.
