Why am I still here?!

Jungkook's eyes widened.

"R-really?!" Jungkook exclaimed.

Jimin nodded. He picked up his phone that had dropped. He apologized to the other person on the other line and listened carefully, his eyes already filling with tears.

Jungkook was also on the verge of tears. His hyung, who he thought he'll lose forever, was still with them. The maknae has almost lost hope that Taehyung will ever wake up. Jungkook and Jimin are the most depressed about Taehyung. The three of them were the closest ones in the group, it almost felt impossible to think of a world without their Taehyung.

"Okay, we'll be there soon."

Jimin hung up and puts his phone in his pocket. The male got out up and quickly puts a jacket on before running out the room, Jungkook following his hyung as well.

They ran into the living room and shouted the news.

"Taehyung's awake!!"

They all looked up with shocked looks. Y/n was doing her homework and looked up from the kitchen table.

"A-Appa awake...?" She said in disbelief.

Jimin nodded and explained everything the doctor said to him. Everyone got into the car and drove to the hospital as quick as they could. When they arrived, they quickly ran into the hospital.

"Oh, you must've heard about the news about Taehyung." The receptionist said.

"Yes, we came as soon as possible." Namjoon said.

"He's being examined at the moment, so please wait in the waiting room and we'll call you."

The members and Y/n went to sit down in a small waiting room. They were anxious, Taehyung was in a coma for months, almost a year actually since his birthday was only a few days away. They were worried their Taehyung would end up trying to do this again... and actually succeed this time.

"Are you here for Kim Taehyung?" They looked up and saw Taehyung's doctor. Jimin could tell he had bad news.

"Is he awake? Is he okay? Is something wrong?" Jimin asked, desperate to hear about Taehyung.

"He's awake, yes. But there's something wrong." The doctor said "May I talk with you." He looked at Namjoon.

Namjoon stood and followed the doctor out of the room. Jimin was filled with anxiousness and terrified thoughts. Was he not okay? Is he dying? Is he going to be suicidal forever? Namjoon walked back into the room, shock on his face.

"So? What did they tell you?" Jin asked.

"They said that me and you should go... it'll make more sense.."

Taehyung's POV:

My eyes felt very heavy and I couldn't feel my body. Was I dead? Did I start a new life? No... I'm pretty sure a baby wouldn't have a mature mindset like this. My eyes scanned around the room. There were nurses and doctors checking me and writing stuff down on a clipboard. It was now clear to me.

I have woken up.

I thought I would have left this world by now, but no, I was still here. I didn't know why my body kept fighting to stay alive, but I didn't want to live with the pain that almost felt like it was suffocating me, so I tried doing it again. My nails scratched against my skin and I felt blood trickle down my arm. But suddenly the nurses in the room stopped me. I would have kept fighting if they didn't inject me with a sedative. My body already started calming down, and my breathing going back to normal.

"Taehyung, your members and daughter are outside. You don't want them to see you like this do you?" One of the nurses said. My eyes widened a bit. Hyungs... Kookie... Y/n... they all came? A doctor walked in before I could speak, but he was followed by two other people. My heat stopped.
