Winter Bear. (Kim Taehyung x child)

Telling Y/n the truth.

I felt my heart skip a beat when she asked me the question. "Maybe when your older. Right now your still to young to under stand." I said. "Appa, I'm a big girl. I can understand." She said "Y/n, are you sure you want to know? It's better you know when your older." I said. She shook her head and repeated her question. I sighed and I sat her down on the couch. "Y/n... I'm not really your Appa." I admitted. Y/n's face was shocked from the words coming out of my mouth. "What? Y-Y/n not Appa's?" Y/n said heart broken. I sadly had to nod and had to explain her whole back story. "Y/n, I just found you by yourself. Your real Eomma left you by yourself in the rain. Me and Oppas saved you." I explained. As I told Y/n her everything I been hiding from her for years, her trust for me was slowly leaving her. "Y/n I'm so sorry for hiding this from you. I didn't want you to worry." I said. "Appa lie to Y/n!" Y/n shouted before running to her room. "No, Y/n!" I said. When I got to her room, her door was locked from the inside. I heard her cries from inside which broke my heart in a way I couldn't describe. I felt tears strolling down my face as I realized what I just done. I just lost my child. My only child now doesn't trust me. I fell to the ground in tears, broken from my actions. I slowly walked to my room, passing and ignoring Jimin and Jungkook in the process, and collapsed onto my bed.

"What have I done?" I questioned myself. "I just destroyed my child's trust for me. Now she hates me!" I shouted. I then heard a knock on my door, which I ignored. "Taehyung? Jungkook and Jimin told me that something. What happened?" Namjoon asked walking into my room. "I failed so bad, Namjoon." I said "Taehyung, what are talking about?" Namjoon asked me. I sat up straight, looking at him in the door frame. "Y/n hates me, I told her how I found her and that I'm not her real Appa." I admitted. Namjoon sat next to me, putting his hand on my shoulder. "Taehyung, Y/n still loves you. She's just having to much for one day. Maybe try talking to her again later." Namjoon said "I can't look at her again! She won't even look at me when I was telling to her, she hates me!" I shouted. Namjoon at this point, didn't know how to help me. He just kept trying to calm me down. When I did, he told me to talk to Y/n again. "Try to explain to her that she is more special because she chose you." were the words that made me get up and walk to Y/n's room.

"Baby bear? Can you unlock the door?" I asked. She didn't answer. "Y/n? Are you awake?" I asked. Silents. I begin to panic. I started knocking on her door harder, hoping she would answer. Maybe she just fell asleep? Or maybe she won't open the door because she's still upset. I found a key to open her door and I opened the door slowly. A breeze hit my skin the moment I opened my door and noticed the window was opened. Her room was empty! I looked around every corner of the room with nothing. "No... Where is she!?" I shouted. I saw something on her bed, a note in a her sloppy five year old hand writing. Appa lie to Y/n, this sentence was written all over the paper. Tear stains on it as well, damping the paper. Half of her stuff was gone, only meaning the worst. "No... No!" I said in shock. I ran to the window and I saw her Polar bear just sitting on the ground. I picked it up and I felt a tear going down my cheeks. I feel to my knees, shocked. It took me a while to process what was happening. But when it hit me, it hit my hard. Tears streamed down my face, my eyes were blocked with tears as I held the bear close to me.

"Hyungs! Y/n's gone!" I shouted, running into the living room. All of them looked at me with pure panic in them and they ran into the room. The same speed they ran in when we first found Y/n. "Taehyung, we'll find her. She couldn't have gone far." Jin said, putting his hand on my shoulder. I pushed his hand off of my shoulder. "Why does everyone thing putting their hand on people's shoulder think that will help?! My daughter just ran away and now thinks I'm a liar!" I snapped. Everyone stepped back when they saw how broken I was. When I came back to reality, I realized how angry I was. My breathing begin to get heavy as my guilt took over my body. "Taehyung, are you okay?" Jimin asked. "I'm a terrible father." I admitted. "What? Taehyung your not a bad father!" Hobi said. "I am a bad father. she hates now for lying to her all these year!" I said. All of them looked at each other until Jungkook broke the silents. "So why are we still standing here? Y/n is out in the city of Seoul and we're just standing here while she's out there." Jungkook said. We all started running out of the dorm calling Y/n's name. I went to the back of the dorm where Y/n's room was. I saw her tiny foot prints in the dirt which lead to the city, then it all faded away.

~TIME SKIP~

After hours of searching, I was starting to lose hope. We went back to the dorm every five minutes to print out posters of her and hung them everywhere we could. "Come on, this is the last poster." I said. "Taehyung, I know you don't want to give up but-" Jungkook said before I cut him off "I don't want to give up! I never giving up until Y/n is back safe." I said. "I know, but it's getting late." Jin said. I sighed and looked at the ground. "Your right. Let's go home." I said sadly. i walked the first two miles back to the dorm behind all the other members. looking at my feet as I walked. "Y/n, where are you?" I said. We all walked into the dorm and I locked myself into my room the rest of the night. I refused to eat anything even if I was starving. I looked at pictures on my phone and I found the video of Y/n walking for the first time. I felt tears building up and I felt my tears stream down my face. "Y/n come home. Please, it's not your fault that I'm not your real father." I said. I scrolled through the pictures of me and Y/n and I came across her first day of school pictures.

*Ding Dong* (Inserts Jungkook ding dong ringtone)

I sadly got up and walked to get the door. I unlocked the door and opened it slowly. I looked down and saw a small figure standing. "Y-Y/n?" I said. Before I could say anything else, two tiny arms wrapped around me. "Appa! I'm sorry! I was wrong I don't hate you!" Y/n said tears on her face hugging me tight. I looked down in disbelief. I fell to my knees and hugged Y/n back. I felt tears streaming down my face fast as I hugged Y/n.

All the members walked in to see me on my knees. "Y/n came back?" I heard Jimin say. Y/n hugged me tightly and cried harder. "Appa, I don't want to leave you or Oppas. I want stay with you forever." Y/n said still sniffling. I looked in Y/n's eyes and hugged her. "Me neither Baby Bear." I said. I brought Y/n in to the house and got her a change of clothes. I laid her in bed and I kissed her goodnight. Before I walked out of the room, Y/n looked up. "Appa?" Y/n said. I turned back and looked at her. "Yeah Baby Bear?" I asked.

"I love you Appa."
