Boris was doing what he normally does. Looking around for food.
Henry was helping this time only because of how more dangerous it's gotten recently.
"Buddy, I couldn't find anything. All I've found is empty cans. As if someone or something broke em open and ate it all including half the can..." Henry said.

This was true.
The bacon soup cans Henry was looking at were bitten, literally.
There also was something black on some of the empty cans.
Ink perhaps?
Or something else?

Boris came over to Henry to check it out.
But then
CRASH!
Something nearby had fallen over.
Henry and Boris didn't wait to find out who it could have been because they knew exactly who it was. So they began to slowly sneak away.

Boris had brought his headlamp just in case.
When the room dimmed, well, so did the headlamp.
Both of them could clearly see the dark shadows move about like ink, reaching for them.

Boris grabbed Henry by the hand and they both ran as fast as they could to get away from the Ink Demon.
