I will not tell you that it's going to be a lot easier when you learn how to choose yourself.
It's going to consume you, exhaust you and honestly, it will turn your life around.
There will be times when you second-guess yourself, times when the doubt is bigger and louder than the hope you're building, times when fear will overpower the love you hold inside.
But take heart and trudge on.
Even when you have to stomp your feet or wave your hands in the air out of frustration—even when you crumple from the weight of your expectations and disappointments.
When the tears have dried, you need to get up and carry on.
Either with cursing, silence, or stillness in your heart.
You must keep moving forward.
One step at a time.
One step at a time.
That's how you conquer a mountain:
By taking small steps in tune with the beat of your heart.
Take the hard path when there's no other way, because it's going to be worth every damn second when you finally rediscover yourself.
