It was a rare holiday, Kim Rok Soo decided to treat himself by reading a novel with some coffee in his comfy bed, not a webnovel on phone but a book. He decides to take out his latest purchase, a book that caught his eyes yesterday while returning to his house. The book attracted him somehow, with reddish brown cover and golden patterns. The cover the same colour as his eyes. He suddenly had an impulse to buy the book even without looking at its title. It’s finally time to take a look at it.

Kim rok soo made a cup of instant coffee, took out the book and sat down on the couch with a fluffy pillow. The fluffy pillow doesn’t really suit with his stotic expression but who cares its comfortable. He takes a look at the title of the book while taking a sip of coffee. The title caught his eyes. It’s just a single word written in extremely beautiful calligraphy with golden ink, the same golden as the various patterns drawn at the borders of the book. But somehow the title seems to glow in a golden light, just a single word ‘FAE’.

The world seems to stop for a couple of seconds. Kim rok soo felt a chill run down his spine, he was getting an ominous feeling that something is going to destroy his peaceful time. Ignoring the weird feeling he opened the book and once again his attention was captured even before reading a single word of the said page.

The pages of the book were yellowish brown something like an ancient book but the pages seemed new. The page was quite thick for any normal book and had a unique texture, there seems to be some patterns drawn on the page itself, underneath the writings, it looked as if someone had dipped the tip of brush in coffee and made those patterns. The letters were written written brilliant red ink, blood red he realizes. Everything about this book seems iffy at the same time it’s mesmerizing, everything in the book was capturing his attention.
