What's Beyond Those Icy Stares

Eugene's POV

I saw her walking towards our table, it's been 4 day since our circle became wide because of her. Not exactly because of her, it also because of Head Founder and what she called "fate" &"destiny".
I sighed, and found my self sighing again because it's her habit that grow in me.
I adopted it from her and every little thing about her makes me feel something unusual and uneasy but found my self smiling at the end of the day.
I pinched my self, why do she keep on running inside my head. Can she just give me a brief moment to think of my self not her.
I think about her during class hours, at lunch even though she literally in front of me, when I go home, at night.
I won't be shocked if she also appear in my dreams.

She sat next to Terrence and beside her Stanley sat. Of all the sits she may take she took that chair now she's being sandwiched by my friends.
~ Where's Roge? ~ she asked.
~ She's at the clinic she's not feeling well today ~ Jayden answered.
I stood up and found my self walking towards the clinic. What exactly is my purpose, to make her jealous? It's like she even look at me as a man.
I entered and found Roge sitting there.
~ Hey I heard your not feeling well. ~ I spoke.
~ Did Jayden told you that? ~ she asked and I nod in answer.
~ Ahhh I told her to just keep it a secret, you must've been worried,, sorry ~ Roge said.
~ No it's ok. By the way is Clarize lesbian? I mean I don't mean to hurt her, I do like her I mean I like her as a friend..... ~
I heard Roge laugh
~ it's ok I already knew it from the very start. And if I were you I won't be close to other girls especially to me she might be thinking that you like me instead of her. Don't go hanging out with me if you like her,,,, people often hope and jump into conclusion. But if you want it can help you. ~
She spoke how how can she be,,,,, she's literally amazing.
I just stared at her in amusement.
~ You must've been hungry let's go shall we? ~ she asked and nod.

( Hallway to cafeteria )

~ Look she's been close to Terrence lately. You should make your move, or else you'll be left alone with no one like a grumpy old man like you are now. ~ she mockingly said I glared at her jokingly and we both laugh.
It's been a while since I laugh like this.
We take our sits and started eating.
~ I want to grab a drink, who wants to come? ~ Clarize spoke. Roge tapped my hands her eyes are telling me to grab the opportunity but Stanley stood up and they went together.
Roge sighed and shook her head at me.
I sighed too.
They're back and shared the drinks .
I took one and Roge took one for herself. She seems to struggle. ~ Hey Terrence open the drink for her. ~ Clarize said but I want her to see that I can open a drink for just like how I open Roge's drink.

I looked at her, she's not jealous at all?
I mean I don't want to but I'd like to see how she reacts.
Then she started choking and coughing so hard. Shit is she okay?
I'm getting nervous right now but I can't help my self.
I'm worried but anger fueled up when Terrence caresses her back. Who in the world gave this guy the authority to lay hands on Clarize. I'm literally glaring at him.
She calmed down, that's when I explode saying
~ What are you thinking making you cough so hard your about to die? Can you be a little careful your disturbing others ~.
Everyone became silent especially her.
Shit did I startled her, she's shock. I didn't mean to pour my anger on her it's just...I carried away.
And I just can't get mad at Terrence, not right now.
She stood up and walked away. I don't know where her feet is dragging her but all I know is she mad at me.
~ what are you even thinking? Do you even realize that she's tired and stressed out lately and you're still throwing hard things for her to carry. ~ Terrence hissed. And was about to walk and follow her but I stopped him, I won't let him get closer to Clarize not now that I know we both developed our feelings.
~ Don't you even think of following her, give her some air space and clear her mind, I'll talk and apologize to her once everything is settled. No one will apologize on my behalf, especially you Stanley and Vespian. ~ I said.
And he take the other route.

The bell rang we all got off Jayden, Roge, Stanley and I are classmates so we all have to go together. Vespian and Kai are classmates, while Clarize and Terrence are classmates, seatmate to be exact and it pisses me off but I can't do anything.
Roge slapped my arm.
~ Ouch what was that for? ~ I asked annoyed.
~ do you really wanna know, I'm mad at you, I already told you to stop making her jealous she's not even into you and now your making the gap wider and wider. ~ she hissed.
Jayden looked at me,
~ Don't tell me,,,, you like Clarize? ~ she asked I sighed.
~ Your so noisy and nosy! ~ I said to Roge and push her in the forehead using my forefinger and middle finger she rolled her eyes.
I smiled if only I can do this to Clarize right now to see her roll her eyes 360° I sighed.

~ It's not yet over to swim back your not even drowning and your feelings aren't that deep, it'll be hard for you and Terrence to share or like the same girl. ~ Stanley said.
~ It's like you even experience what I'm feeling right now. ~ I talk back and rolled my eyes.
~ Hey!! That's our thing ~ Roge said while pinching my eyes she struggle to reach me since I'm that tall.
In the end we both laugh.
But I still can't remove the thought that Clarize is mad at me.
