Its been two months since you shifted to Korea. Because of work and your new friends you were not able to talk or hangout with Jungkook. You guys only met thrice and that too was for an hour or two. Jungkook really want to spend time with you and gives his best to take out time for you but you on the other side is not able to reciprocate the same efforts as him. Slowly and gradually Jungkook can sense that the spark in your friendship is fading away and this thing is really hurting him. You are not doing this intentionally but the gap between you both is slowly growing and one of the main reason behind this might be your new friends .

Finally I have three days off . Its been such a long time since I have met Jungkook I guess I should surprise him. "Hmph I guess I should call V and plan a surprise for him"
I took out my phone from my pocket but as soon as I unlocked my phone I got a call from my mom

You: hello . How are you mumma

Mum: y/n can you come home ( sobbing)

You: hey why are you crying?(worried)

Mum: Jennifer

You: Jenn what??!!!

Mum: she is in the hospital on ventilator

You: w-what

Mum: she is constantly calling your name . Can you come home baby

You: yes. I am booking ticket right now bye

I hung up the call and booked the tickets to my hometown . I really hope I can reach there asap and see her in good condition. Oh god Hanao please get well soon . Jennifer my Hanao is my childhood friend come soul sister , our mom's were best friends so me and Jenn basically knew each other since birth . She was diagnosed with HIV couple of years ago. Just because that stupid nurse re-used the needle for blood test caused my Hanao a life threatening disease.

I took 15 days leave and packed my bags I just hope that my application will be approved otherwise I might have to leave this amazing company. These jobs will come and go but right now my first priority is my girl my Hanao (hanao means baby elephant a nickname you gave to her)

Jungkook Pov

Thats it. She is not picking up my calls, not responding to my texts and she didn't even try to take out time for me . I will just go to her place and end things for real this time. Why should I put all the efforts in our friendship when she is just taking it for granted. Its been 20 days since her last text bet she is hanging out with that moron Soobyuk. She doesn't even need me. I think I should go meet her and ask her if she is really interested in this friendship or not.
I took my keys and drove to her apartment. This is it y/n I need some explanation for this behaviour otherwise I think its time to end things. I really started liking you I thought we could be a thing but I guess I was wrong , forget about something apart from friendship when the friendship itself is on the verge of breaking.
As soon as the elevator's door opened I saw her hugging Soobyuk and it shattered my heart into millions of pieces . She really did forgot me. She have time for all of her friends but me. I didn't go to talk to her instead I came back home and locked myself into my room.

"Jeon Jungkook this is the nth time I am asking you to open the fucking door" Taehyung said

" leave me alone"I said sobbing

" open the door or I am calling y/n and ask her what happened between you two" Rm said

" as if she will tell you the reason" I said

" hey guys" I heard y/n's voice " is Jungkook here I want to talk to him" she added

" y-y/n hhi" jhope said

I opened the door and saw her standing in front of the door

"Why are you here" I said in a high tone

" I came here to meet you" She said

" I don't want to talk to you just go away" I said

" hey your eyes are swollen. Were you crying ?" She said touching my face

"As if you care" I said

" did I do something?" She asked

" no absolutely not" I said glaring at her

" then what happen? Come here" she said hugging me. I immediately pushed her away . How can she act like nothing happened after ghosting me out for almost a month. " what is wrong with you" she said raising her voice

" jungkook this behaviour is not tolerable" Suga said

" ya right and what about her who ghosted me for almost a month. No call no text. She have time for everyone except me" I said irritated

" hey there is some misunderstanding . Lets talk okay calm down" she said

" MISUNDERSTANDING!!! Ya right not taking out time for me. Not responding to my calls or text is just misunderstanding" I said

" can you please calm down for fucks sake" she said

" calm down and then what?"I said

" jungkook at least listen to her" V said

" what should I listen hyung ? Her excuses that why did she ghost me? Or hurting my feelings ? She always have time to hangout with her work friends. She even canceled plans with me for those people. Why should I listen to her when I can clearly see that I am not important to her" I said crying
