(A/N: HEYYYYAHHHH I'VE MISSED YOUUU!!!! This is not the end of the book, but it's still pretty angsty!! Enjoy!)

AYRTON'S P.O.V:

It was the day of the wedding.
I hadn't seen Chloe for about 25 hours. No. I glanced at my watch. Make that 26.

My heart was fluttering, I tried to imagine her beautiful face smiling at me. I couldn't wait to see her dress. I just hoped it was any colour other than red. I hated red dresses.
Adjusting my tie, I breathed heavily. This was it. I was going to marry a girl I had loved for such a long time.

Or did I? A thousand doubts ran through my mind. Was I ready for that kind of commitment? Could I live a life with her forever?

Stepping out of the dressing room into the church hall I saw all of my guests. There was Megan, Conor, Kyle, Oliver (who I barely remembered at all) and Ellie who looked like she had been dragged through a bush backwards. Scowling from the corner in her black lace dress and fiddling with her purse, she looked almost menacing.

She was with Ollie, were they together? No. I was sure Ellie was engaged to some ginger man, yet I couldn't see any sign of a ring.

There was of course our families and other friends. They were all chatting excitedly and nervously. I clapped my hands and announced that we made our way into the church.
Everyone sat down in their assigned place in the pews as we all anxiously awaited the bride's arrival.

15 minutes later, the doors opened and through them stepped...
... a girl I didn't want to be with.
As stunning as she looked, she was too perfect. Her perfection was repulsive and I didn't know what to do.

I couldn't bail out now. I had to do this.

Arm in arm with her father, she was walked down the aisle. Her royal wedding style gown flowing behind her. At least it was white, which was nice enough.

Reluctantly I expertly acted my way through the ceremony until it came to the vows. I heard some stirring at the back row but I ignored it.

Focus. I had to focus.

"Do you Ayrton, take Chloe to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

I paused. Did I? Just as the words started to form in my lips I heard a trembling voice.

"Please. Stop."

In that split second I froze. I heard a gun being loaded to my right. The whole church was silent with terror.

My eyes widened as I turned around to see the scene behind me. Ollie was crying and pleading to Ellie, who had a gun in her shaking hand. It was aimed at Chloe.

A woman in the congregation screamed. Suddenly the whole church was ringing with panicked voices, echoing off of the walls.

Before I carry on with this I would like to remind you that this is not a soap opera, nobody suddenly realises their love for someone and saves the day. No. This is reality. This is what happened that fateful day.

I stayed silent, unable to speak. At least I wouldn't have to die. Chloe was shaking and looked like she was going to throw up. That didn't hinder Ellie in the slightest. Her finger squeezed the trigger and the bullet cut through the air.

It cut through the air.
...
And
...
Hit
...
Chloe.

Ollie's cries were loud and harsh. He angrily snatched the gun out of Ellie's weak grasp and turned it on her.

"You never said murder was involved you bitch" he sobbed "IT WAS MEANT TO BE A FUCKING OBJECTION"

She just laughed, and to my shame I laughed with her. Not because I was happy, but because I knew what would occur next.

Ollie pulled the trigger this time. It hit her just below her collarbone. She was a definite goner. Her miserable life ended in an instant. So elegant, yet clumsy.

Next was me. I knew it was coming. Ollie pointed the gun at me. I heard a bang.

I could see the bullet fly on slow motion towards me. I turned to look at Chloe, her white dress was now a deep red. My hands were also a similar colour.

How amusing.
...
I hate red.

I smiled to myself.

Then everything went pitch black.
