Chapter 11

"My dad. My dad had, had ppppassed." Seulgi said stuttering.

"I'm sorry, I have to go." Seulgi said running away from Jackson. Jackson caught up to her and grabbed her wrist and made her turn away.

"Let me drive you home, it'll be quickly." Jackson said while running to his car while still holding Seulgi's wrist.

Seulgi was shaking her legs, biting her lip and clenching her fist while crying.

"Try to calm down." Jackson said.

"How can I? How can I possibly calm down when my only parent had died?" Seulgi asked Jackson after he told her to calm down.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have --" Seulgi said before Jackson held her hand and placed it on her shaking leg. Her hand had unclenched and her leg had stopped shaking after Jackson's actions. She felt a spark inside of her when that happened.

"Don't be." Jackson said focusing on the road.

The two arrived at Seulgi's house and the two entered together.

"I'm sorry, Seulgi." The Ajumma said standing next the dead person's body who lost color in the skin.

Seulgi turned away and cried on Jackson's chest. Her warm tears rolled down Jackson's chest. He stood there staring at the corpse and remembering his last words that he said to Jackson.

Seulgi stayed at Jackson's house and comforted her like how he promised Mr. Kang.

"I shouldn't have gone out, I should've just stayed by my dad before that happened." Seulgi said crying her eyes out.

"Hey, hey, it's not your fault. Everyone has their time and it was his time." Jackson said scooting next to Seulgi and putting his arm around her back.

It was his first time actually comforting a girl for a different reason, she was different. Seulgi leaned her head on Jackson's shoulder and just cried.

"Thanks for comforting me. I needed it." Seulgi said as she tried to get up from her currently position until Jackson stopped her.

"Don't move. I like it like this." Jackson said forcing Seulgi.

"Jackson, I have to go." Seulgi said.

"You don't have to go, you choose to go. You don't really have to." Jackson said.

"Jackson." Seulgi said trying to escape.

"It's late, I don't want you to walk home." Jackson said trying to make a excuse.

"Jackson, I live next door." Seulgi said pointing to her house.

"I'm lonely, I need company and I promise I won't try to rape you." Jackson said with a straight face.

"Fine, I guess you win this. Don't even think about trying to rape me." Seulgi said pointing to Jackson.

"I'm just being nice to a beautiful lady." His hands were in the air as if the police told him to freeze.

The two slept on the bed and nothing had happened. Next thing you know they were in a deep sleep.
